  Since I live in Indiana too, I think I would like to go out in service with you. Maybe we could go to a WT Study together too and visit a congregation midway between you and I.

  I'm sure it would be an encouraging and spiritually uplifting experience for both of us.

  rich and james out of guilt, richard out of depression.. james and rich were both under 30 years old.. after richard wheelock (a bethel heavy) killed himself the society changed it's stand on whether suicides could be resurrectioned or not..

  I grew up with one who committed suicide last year. The funeral was in the KH. One was several years ago, he was a pioneer and had given a part on the CA abou the blessings of reg. pioneering. Another was about 4 years ago. Her husband was an elder and within one year, he married my ex-wife.......He remained an elder even as his wife committed suicide while he was at the assembly.

  yesterday, there was a thread concerning the recent important discovery they found in the middle east.

  if proven to be authentic from the correct time-period it would signify that early christians did indeed use the cross as part of their religion.

  we all commented about how if this does indeed turn out to be true, the wtbs and it's jws will either shrug it off or simply come up with some bizarre conspiracy story.. so i decided to test the waters a little.
