There are millions of JWs that have died with the sadness of believing that they would not be with their spouse in paradise earth. They died on their deathbeds with this thought.

QFR August 15, 2014 - Resurrection and Marriage
by wisdomfrombelow inthe article addressed luke 20:34-36 and now they finally admit jesus could have been referring to the heavenly resurrection.
they said "put simply, the answer is that we cannot say" which is surprising because they have something to say about everything.
perhaps all the old people who are waiting the new world as widow and widowers want to know if they have a chance to be reunited with their dead loved one.

by smiddy inthis article appeared on friday may 9, 2014 in the herald sun newspaper in victoria australia.. matt johnston is a state politics reporter.. quote :" all religous ministers will need working with children checks and a new system will be created for organisations to report alleged child abuse,under a $ 10 million state government reform.".
premier denis napthine revealed the new measures,a further response to the state parliments`s child abuse inquiry report,betrayal of trust .. "many ordinary parish based ministers may not have required a wwc check.under this rule , every minister for religion who has any contact with children will require such a check ," he said.. opposition community services spokeswoman jenny mikakos called for the government to move quicker to "address the issues identified".
my concern is, will the watchtower org./jehovahs witnesses /jw.org.

The WWC is free for volunteers. The requirements for obtaining one is not the same in every state in relation to religious volunteers. The WTBTS in Victoria only started complying to some degree after the efforts of a hardworking guy called Steven Unthank. His efforts appear to have had the direct effect of the Kingdom Halls changing their signs to remove the Ministry School wording.
Fortunately it also resulted in the organization advising Elders to apply for a WWC card, at least in Victoria. As to how the Branch Office monitors this, or anyone else for that matter, is unknown.

How did HQ handle the increase of new JWs leading up to 1975?
by Zoos inthis new donation arrangement under the pretense that so many new halls are needed to accommodate the worldwide increase has me wondering.
the numbers in the current annual reports don't show anywhere near the increase as there was leading up to the 1975 debacle.
so how did the gb of the time handle a genuine need for more kingdom halls?.

The Old Hippie - What were the reasons given for the sale of the two local Kingdom Halls?
A Kingdom Hall was sold over in the Victoria, Australia just over a year ago. It was about 200 yards from a boat ramp and river and fetched a high amount. They were told they needed to sell because their Hall was not big enough and they could not fit in all the people attending the yearly memorial. The JWs who attended the hall now have to travel an extra 20 minutes each way to share another Kingdom Hall. Although there is no reason to delay buying land and building another hall they have not commenced anything yet.

Why would you take the $20,000 allocated to the other two children, or even the $10,000 from the sick child if you had $1,000,000 in your own bank account?
Besides, it is not a matter of the organization having set aside money to give to each congregation (child), it is the congregations (children) that give to the parent.
The parent (if he hadn't been wise enough to have health insurance) would more than likely sell some of his properties in order to meet the debt. The Stanley Theatre alone would be a good example. But as far as the org. goes, they aren't talking about lifesaving necessities, rather just desireable 'wants' as opposed to 'needs'.
