My husband and I visited the UK four years ago as tourists from Australia.
I needed to see a Doctor and went to a local clinic in London. What a shocker, there were one or two people abusing staff and Doctors. It was a very unpleasant place.
I was told there was absolutely no way they could give me an appointment, either that day or within the next few weeks. My only choice was to go to a public hospital emergency department so we did.
I had travel insurance but was told that due to the reciprocal arrangement there would be no cost unless I was hospitalized and then expected to use my travel insurance (even though the reciprocal arrangement provides free medical care as an inpatient which I didn't know at the time). This reciprocal arrangement exists between the UK and several countries and is constantly changing.
I was very impressed with the hospital, staff and treatment. The initial general examination was incredibly thorough, more so than we receive here in Australia. Five scripts were filled out, at no cost, at the hospital as the Doctor said it was the easiest way to see me through until I returned to Australia.
Being a reciprocal arrangement means that UK residents can receive necessary medicare treatment when they visit Australia and some other Countries.

Canadians and Europeans, what do you think of your national health care ?
by RubaDub inwe have been in a battle over health care for so long here in the us regarding public, private, gov't subsidized, obama care, medicare for all, and just about every permutation of the above.. we hear the horror stories here that people wait 20 years for a check-up (ok, bit of an exaggeration), but you get the point.
one side tells us that canadians flock across the border when they are sick and need to see a doctor.
the other side says that is simply not the case.. so tell us, if you live under one of the government systems would you replace it?

it's clear by their history, their wt's, the elder arrangement and so on.
however, after witnessing and using the publish id program in person, it takes this need for control to a whole new level & it was scary.. if you've ever seen builder assist (the website program used for ldc volunteers) or the metro program, it actually looks pretty similar to that.

Hotels Deny Watchtower Discount Rates For 2020 Regional Conventions
by JW GoneBad inthe wtbts is not being given special room rates by 2 major hotels at the long beach convention center area for the upcoming 2020 regional conventions & wt is t'd off.
letters are being read in surrounding circuits and congregations.
apparently wt is afraid that other hotels are going to blackball them as well.. has anyone else heard this?

It's not surprising. It is a common practice for Hotels to increase prices when there is a higher demand for rooms.

Blondie - I wonder how much that jw donated himself.
A clever ploy by the Governing Body, by getting the JWs to ask their bible studies to donate, it will probably guilt them into donating more themselves.
We've seen JW children being told to donate, giving up their ice cream money and raiding their piggy banks. Now they're aiming at Bible studies.
I wonder how long it will be before we see this scenario acted on video.

he did a shithouse job in this regard.. i can`t speak for females this is entirely a male thing.
from my perspective.. male adolescents at a very ,very young age , babies , get erections periodically and it has nothing to do with sexual fantasies ,because they don`t even have an awareness of sex between a male and a female at this time.. and it is second inbuilt nature to masturbate to relieve, get rid of the erection .

hey are very valid points that you raise (ha ha) Smiddy. The Watchtower is wrong about their teachings on masturbation and it's a powerful tool that they use for control. They know it too, otherwise they would make it a df offence.
You don't say how old this bloke was but most people wouldn't even be looking 'down there'. You sure told him where to go though and language like that from an 11/12 year old back then wouldn't have been expected. Sometimes bad language can be very useful in situations. And people wonder why there were 'gay bashers' around in those days.
The Watchtower is also wrong when they try to blame a child for being caught up in sexual encounters. It's very difficult for a child to properly comprehend what is going on and how to deal with threatening or seducing behavior. -

in the very first study article, the gibbering body continues to indoctrinate the sheeple to accept that over 500 people met jesus on the mountain - despite the blatant fact that 1 corinthians 15:6 says absolutely nothing about the 500 people being anywhere near galilee!
(matthew 28:16-20) however, the 11 disciples went to galʹi·lee to the mountain where jesus had arranged for them (the 11 disciples) to meet.

They admit that they are baptizing them as JW's and not in the name of 'the father, the son and the HS. -
