The new elders book would probably explain matters but my understanding is that if you haven't confessed to any wrong doing then two witnesses are required to testify of the wrongdoing, whether that is the elders themselves or other people.

Because we worship Jehovah along with the chaste bride class of anointed ones
Does it really say that in the outline?

DMCA Complaint from The WatchTower for links to KS-10 'Shepherding' book
by Simon inyes, that's right, they really do not like people being able to read that book so they wanted links to it removed (it appears they have also been going after the hosts of the content itself as well).. unfortunately, i had to removed the links (which were dead anyway when i checked) and i'd ask that people don't re-post them (sorry).
i'm sure there are lots of alternative ways for those with the information to get it to those who need it.. here are the discussions on the book:.

It would make an interesting case if the accused (the person copying regligious matter) fought on the basis of freedom of religion, that definition being
Freedom of religion is a principle that supports the freedom of an individual or community, in public or private, to manifest religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship, and observance; the concept is generally recognized also to include the freedom to change religion or not to follow any religion. [ 1 ] The freedom to leave or discontinue membership in a religion or religious group —in religious terms called "apostasy" —is also a fundamental part of religious freedom.
Freedom of religion is considered by many people and nations to be a fundamentalhuman right. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] Thomas Jefferson said (1807) "among the inestimable of our blessings, also, is that ...of liberty to worship our Creator in the way we think most agreeable to His will; ..." [ 4 ]
In a country with a state religion, freedom of religion is generally considered to mean that the government permits religious practices of other sects besides the state religion, and does not persecute believers in other faiths. For a current overview, see section Contemporary situation of religious freedom in the world.

While all such copyright infringement can interfere and adversely impact the work of Jehovah's Witnesses worldwide, including the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses
Then maybe it shouldn't have been written.

Why was I disfellowshipped?
by pes0210 ini needed to get this off my chest for awhile back i confessed to the elders in my hall that i had sexbfm, i was dating a sister for 2 years and she wouldnt marry me until i became an elder like her dad.
so i fell into some sin and did the deed, one night stand with a stranger.
i felt bad for it and told the brothers, well they recommended me for dfing, i told them i wasnt sure where i was in life spiritually and they said i need to go on my own and figure it out...well 7 days or so later i went and called the po and asked him if he would hear my repentance, he said it was too late (one day past the alotted time) and they already sent the letter to the society...well i asked what can i do and they recommened a judical comittee of like 8 brothers from surrounding halls to hear my case, well i sat in a massive circle of 10 or more brothers in a back room and opened up all of my repentance and tears and confessions, they all were in an agrement that i was worthy to stay in the organization becuase as they stated "you are a good fine brother that loves jehovah" but.... they recounted that they have to go with the first decision they 3 elders in my hall made, then told me to work my way back in no time.....this was a turning point of craziness, my mother father brother sister all stopped talking to me imeddiatly not a word, they were from the old school 70's witnesses (not like the ones today) they were taught to be strickt!

That is very sad pes and I went through something similar. Fortunately for you, you have come to a realization about God's love outside this one organization, it took me a long time to understand as the guilt deeply inbedded from a young age did not allow for this understanding.
The maddening thing is that due to your enlightenment they would say they were justified in their decision to carry through with the disfellowshipment.

ks10-e (official release), Letter from Bro. who scanned it! Newer version with BOE LTRs
by yknot inwhile an earlier version was made available privately the time has come to 'progress'.. conscious class and ex both strongly adhere to not keeping things 'hidden' in regards to wts publications, talks and documents which are circulated in order to maintain it's position.. another wonderful poster (who has yet to give me permission to name) has 'reduced' and 'bookmarked' the first full copy link i was given by our 'winner'.. in this newest and final 'clean' copy link you find two other additions besides the reduction/bookmarking..... the brother who uploaded the entire book wishes all to have a copy that includes both boe ltrs (pre-ks ltr and spiral binding ltr).
also another development has occurred.... the brother responsible for this book being brought into light and put forth for public consumption and discussion has requested i post this letter explaining to 'us' (jwn posters/global audience) and 'them' (wts of penn & ny).. i ask you give attention to his words/ experiences as he is representative of a newly emerging demographic within the conscious class.
so without further ado i give you his link and the 'stage' if you will to 'brother johnson'....... [link removed - contact ynot for further info - lady lee].

Bro Johnston, you have dedicated your life to Jehovah and he will be delighted in that may you find it in your heart to continue to do so.
Has the elder's book been distributed yet? The org could take the early public release of the book as a wake up call and consider why they want it to be available only to a select few and what is in the book that may disturb others.
They should consider scraping the whole book and starting afresh by taking Bro Johnstons' views as guide. Yes, redo the whole book and approach it with the view of demonstrating and carrying out their work as loving shepherds who adhere to God's word, not adding to it or taking away from it.

So what would they be scared and secretive about?
Could one reason be that if they were to be subject to scrutiny that their policies in this book do not stand up to biblical support?

Taking brothers to court
by Listener inthe new elders book viewpoint on this is very interesting and rather sad.
apparantely the scripture which states not to take your fellow bro's to court (1 cor 6:1-8) is not to be taken too literally.
no, in fact there are circumstances that the org has 'spiritually' determined where you can take your bro to court, even on very personal matters.

I agree JeffT. It would complicate their lives greatly if they were to adhere strictly to what the bible says on this matter.

No, in fact there are circumstances that the org has 'spiritually' determined where you can take your Bro to court, even on very personal matters. For some reason, and it is not stated why, but there are things which the org feels it has no jurisdication. This means they feel the courts would make a better legal authority/judgement than themselves even though the courts do not have bible principles to consider.
They are:-
Child custody and support alimony
So according to the bible the father is the head of the family and his decision should be abided by his wife (as a sister in the congregation) but this is not the case all the time.
Obtaining insurance compensation (it might be necessary legally in order to recieve payment from the bros insurer)
So you can sue your brother if it results in a means to an end.
Probating wills
Now this one is really interesting as it means the org can sue a bro if there is a dispute
Certain countersuits (on the basis of defending oneself)
Oh yeah, now that a case is in court, let's fight it out!
So there are in fact situations where the law of the land can be above the what the bible dictates, amazing and convenient.

Why can a wife have her Husband with her at a JC -BUT
by hamsterbait inas we are all now aware - the new secret book of the elduhs says that a husband can accompany his wife to a jc.. "because he is her head".
i thought a father or mother was also the "head " of a child.
(baptised or not) yet they are not to be present when a child faces their rapist..... why is a child expected to come before a jc and face the person who molested them alone??.

Okay, that statement was a bit naive but I am flabergasted about the requirements of meeting with the elders. This is such a sensitive issue and probably rates second to pedophilia.
I child should certainly be allowed to have their parents with them otherwise the meeting should definately not take place
In order to prove that someone has committed a sin and if the accused denies it there is a biblical requirement that there are two witnesses. There is no other stipulated biblical requirements as to who and who can't attend before the elders and it should be by agreement between those affected.
How can it be maintained that these are rules established by God other than the org feels they have this authority by way of the holy spirit? The individuals have the same right to claim that they do also.
