there is a saturday morning symposium on "apostates.
They are continuing to circle the wagons. The threat of exposure is escalating. The emperor has no clothes. I have JW relatives who have pretty much ignored that we are DF'd apostates for a long time. We don't put each other on the spot , we have found it easy to avoid sensitive areas.
That has pretty much come to a screeching halt, as I expected it would.
The convention program above is obviously the big item on the program. The entire Sat morning session sounds like apostasy hysteria.

Now that is scary! Propane can be much more dangerous than natural gas because it is heavier than air. It flows along the ground seeking the lowest pockets like water. It lays there until dissipated by air movement or is ignited. The crawl spaces under a house can reach critical saturation easily.
Natural gas, being lighter than air, is more forgiving in it's rapid dissipation but still dangerous in a confined space.

yestarday all our elders were invited to a one day meeting urgently .i know they had their elders meeting few months ago .does anyone know what it was about .i heard from the grapevine that among other issues disgussed was a)how to deal with disfellowshipped ones and, b) how to offer councel to fellow elders .any elder attended this meeting in britain please feel free to share some info.
They also love to have what they think are important meetings about such activities, those who conduct the meetings, those that go to them, and those that volunteer all suffer from what a dear old friend of mine calls being "full of piss and importance".
So true, phiz. I think it is a control tactic that exploits the typical elder's feeling of importance. Just as the elder "school" does.

by age 13 i was faking illnesses just to get out of thursday and sunday meetings.
i stopped attending altogether at age 17 and headed to college, never really looking back.
There is a class of people, like yourself, who were born in, raised in but never embraced the cult with the baptism ritual. Then they are exiled by their family just the same as if DF'd.
This de-facto disfellowshipping doesn't seem to be an official WT sanction but it is usually in the "avoid bad association" loophole.
Family members are just pissed on general principles.
