Or maybe it was when they invented the 8 track.
Just a thought.

in 1972 the great irish balladeer don mcclean introduced the song "american pie.
" it was and still is a classic.
the song is full of symbolism and even to this day almost thirty years after the song was first introduced, mcclean will not reveal the real meanings behind much of that symbolism.. in that song, he sings about "the day the music died.

Here are two guesses:
In referrence to the death of Louis Armstrong
or
The University of Texas tower assault by Charles Whitmann

an interesting situation happened to me yesterday.
i used to work for a company that employed about 30+ jw's of.
i always kept in touch with the non-jw co-workers, and when i left, i began sending.
Here is an alternative thought:
She is aware that you have been inactive and she is also on the brink of being dfd herself you say. Maybe she needs a way out herself?
Other than that, "Dont believe everything you hear" is probably the best response you can give.

how is it that a woman can look at another woman and say, "wow!

but when a man looks at another man and says, "wow!
Why is it that you park in a driveway but you drive through a parkway?
Sorry (((Andi))) couldn't help myself.
remember going to the 3 day assembly every summer, sitting for numerous exhausting hours on end?
those were tough on me especially when i was really young and wasn't supposed to be roaming the convention center while the talks were being given.
i couldn't beleive those pricks with the "please be seated" sings.
Yes I do remember the 4 day assemblies. It was so good to have my entire summer vacation used to attend such a wonderful event. (barf)
I always wore the volunteer badge myself to do food service. Great way to meet women and never had to listen to any of the crap going on inside. Never had to hold the 'please be seated' sign but I would bet those guys volunteered for that job for the same reason.

eccl.
3:13 "every man should eat and indeed drink and see good for all his hard work.
it is the gift of god.".
Yes, thank you He is a happy God.
I praise Him for bringing me to that light. After growing up as a dub, it was difficult for me to see that. Recently though He has told me in various ways that it was the WT who made Him out to be so evil and vengeful. And boy is He pissed about that.

there are two things.
in the early and mid 80s there were witnesses saying that the cartoon characters the smurfs were not acceptable for witnesses.
i had two smurf cartoon books and my mother made me throw them away.
How about this one. Has anyone ever heard "Another one bites the dust" by Queen played backwards? We did, at an assembly in Florida one year. If you have an imagination that reaches to the stars, it might sound something like "Decide to smoke marijuana". It might also sound like that if the speaker tells you that's what it sounds like, and you have no reasoning ability.

i am an ex jw and i just left quietly.
i was in bethel and started seeing huge holes in the borg.
i was also a non practicing homosexual (undeclared at the time).
Thats what I thought too Mulan, but I only verified over the phone. I was told that I was dfd. I thought their rules were that I should have been d/a but I just figure they broke their own rules and after growing up in the org I knew it wasnt the first time they did that.
Does anyone know of a way I could find out for sure? It was back around Summer of 85, and most of the time I dont even care, but it might be nice to represent my "JW classification" appropriately.
As far as I have been told though, I am dfd.
