2011 Count: 4 are out, 2 are in

with all of the announcements made in our kh this year, we have announced 4 da' s and only 2 that got baptised.

the 2 baptised were born into the jw family.

we also lost 4 elders, and 1 ms.. what was the count for your kh for 2011?.

Hi Steve,

Attendance is down 25% on TS, and SM. Only two MS deleted for wrong doing. The other elders had problems with the 10 hr month FS requirement.

With all of the announcements made in our KH this year, we have announced 4 DA' s and only 2 that got baptised. The 2 baptised were born into the JW family.

How to silence family/elders, and not be labeled apostate, prove the 1,000 year reign understanding is false....

my reason for leaving or fading is because after actually reading the bible, i began to gain understanding and seeing everywhere what the bible teaches is not what jw's teach.

there is no need to bring up 'apostate' material, the history of jw's, etc, as that sets up a mental block (if you ever were a strong jw you may remember yourself it wouldn't work).

the foundation of the faith is that the bible is the final authority, the bible trumps everything, and that only jw's follow the bible everyone else twists it to their traditions and customs.

The concept of going alone at doing your own research/interpretation of the scriptures is another strike that the ORG uses against you. Apparently, individuals are not allowed to come to their own conclusions. They are wrong, even when they are right.

The ORG can make mistakes, but they are right. We can't challenge them. They will always have a correction in place for when they discover that they were wrong, and you have to stop believing in yesterdays understanding, and begin believing the amended changes from them.

I have read the Bible over many times throughout the years. I know that I don't have to guess at how Jesus showed us to be a good Christian. He sure was a great model. I don't need to read about him in the ORG publications, but I must say that they should be credited with some good research at times. But, this prophecy about what is to happen in the future is something that I think is anyone's guess.

We shall see.

it's called kepler 22b!!!.

Well, I think that all of the planets will be inhabited by other life forums. Then there will a Space craft Called Voyager. The crew will consist of a Doctor and a guy with pointed ears. They will have a captain that will be a challenge. He will be a Canadian.

Why do we love sunsets?

every clear morning driving in my car i catch myself gazing at the sunrise.

it's different almost every morning as the clouds change the amount of light that hits the earth's surface.

the earth rotates on it's axis, among other traits, creating a brilliant prism effect as the sunlight shoots at me from different angles as the seasons pass by.. anyone and everyone can appriciate the sun as it rises and falls bellow the horizon each day.

I could never work at night, especially the graveyard (Midnight) shift.

Quite a inspiring message, Sab. Quite an ending, and perhaps a little expression to healing some of the pain you experienced in the past.

You are right on the how it has changed from a long time ago. Too much emphasis on the GB now, and not enough about Jesus, and Jehovah.

i recall recieving a visit from two young mormons.

these were elders, and had that title on their lapel badges.

while discussing a few topics with them, they mentioned that there were approx 10 million active mormons.

I think that your history with the JW faith is fascinating. I also believe that you have achieved quite alot, given the challenges that you have been through.

I do enjoy your contribution to this forum, and the legal aspect to the subjects.
