No more hiding!!!

well, here is my real picture.. i have decided to stop hiding and show my real face.. i hid behind an artificial facade (data) for a long time, fearful of facing the consequences of deciding that my former beliefs were incorrect.. i made the concrete decision in march of this year that jehovahs witnesses do not have the truth and in fact that they were totally wrong.. however, since i have been inactive for 5 years and i do have some people that i care about still in the organization, i decided that i would not reveal who i was so that i did not lose my friends and family.. however, i have now decided to be who i am and my change in my picture icon represents that change.

the consequences are still the same, and i am likely to lose most if not all of my borg friends, but that is the consequence of my decision.. no more hiding for me .

questions about resurrection

were they found guilty because of the men?.

Dear Joelbear,

ALL will be resurrected. Our Lord said don't marvel... why? Because ALL those in the memorial tombs WILL COME OUT. Whether good or bad, ALL will come out. Hence the resurrection is NOT something to marvel at.

Now whether they get life or not, is dependent, not upon me, nor upon a "group of men" sitting in Brooklyn, but upon God who has mercy.

If God wants us to 'find' him, why doesn't he make it a little easier?

hi all, i was just wondering today, which seems to take up a lot of my time these days.. .

if god wants us to 'find' him, why doesn't he make it a little easier??.

it seems to me that there are a lot of very 'good' people who have their own religion or people like myself who try to 'find' him but are not willing to blindly have 'faith', and i'm sure there are a lot of you here who are like me in that respect.. .

I noticed the comments and was 'moved' to ask you...

I have the 'freedom' to say God has and is letting you believe that, for he knew you have believed that and that you plan on believing that.

But what confused me was when you asked:

"If God wants us to 'find' him, why doesn't he make it a little easier?? "

The reason I am confused is this:

You say that the belief of God being the "good part" of us and Satan being the "bad part" of us makes most sense.

If you TRULY believe that to be true... then why did you ask why God doesn't make it easier to 'find him?'

What made you ask that question? Did something inside you not feel right about your 'belief,' and thus, you asked for an easier way to find God?

I'm not patronizing, or at least not intending to, just asking.

Met my first Elder after diassociation

well i met my first witness (and it would have to be an elder who i always got on well with) last night after my disassociation 3 weeks ago and i was not prepared for how hard it felt.

i had the most human reaction of recognising someone i knew and had to stop myself saying hi.

he just rushed past me.

Hello Aud8,

I'm really sorry that you experienced that. They are "true Pharisees." I noticed before you were 'looking' for the Christ ... the real "truth" from heaven. Is this still true with you? I have lost much in the 'organization,' but I have gained MUCH in Christ. I now finally understand him, and what he's been trying to get us to understand for such a long time. The reason we don't "get it" is because for some reason we didn't want to "get it."

Holy spirit is truly a wonderful gift and it 'heals' us. It also speaks to us so that we don't get misled again like we did with the WTBTS. If you still want to "converse" .... i look forward to your posts.

And that is why we are to FOLLOW CHRIST and NOT APOSTLES.

Jesus said:

"ALL AUTHORITY in HEAVEN and ON EARTH has been given to ME."

Matthew 28:18

Hence if the apostles or even "Paul" says one thing, and the MASTER says another... OBEY the MASTER because the apostles are "slaves" and will have to answer for THEMSELVES to the Master just like WE do. So cut through the "red tape" and obey the Master. For only the Master can save us, not ANY "apostle."

Anointed Christians throughout 2,000 years

Regarding "anointed christians"....

There is NO such thing. ALL "christians" in the scriptures were 'anointed.' In fact.. the word "christian" when you break the word down is "christ" + "ian." "Christ" means 'anointed' and "ian" means "people." Hence the word "christian" MEANS "anointed people." Unless one has recieved the 'anointing' by holy spirit and is thus a "chosen one of Jah" .... they are not a "christian."

For if ANYONE does not have the 'spirit of Christ' in them, this one does not belong to him.

sin, dear one, is disobedience... to the commands of my father... whether given through the law covenant... or through holy spirit... yes?.

if then, the bible says of my lord that he was 'without sin' and 'learned obedience from the things he suffered', for which he was made 'perfect'... tell me, please... if you know... when did he sin?.
