  How long until the WT Society gives "new light" about the Internet?

  the watchtower and awake have given some warnings in the past concerning materials available via the internet.

  apostate and porn sites, violent games, useless and frivolous entertainment, and so on.

  for now, they are contended with just giving friendly warnings.

  The Watchtower and Awake have given some warnings in the past concerning materials available via the Internet. Apostate and porn sites, violent games, useless and frivolous entertainment, and so on. For now, they are contended with just giving friendly warnings. How long will it take until they see the danger as real as it is and condemn the use of the Internet? Will they give up their site watchtower.org and jw.org? Or will they say Christians should use the Internet just to visit this sites? Does anyone here have any knowledge about a possible "new light" on this issues?

  Kicking the Bethelites out was a great economic move. Computers and machines nowadays are capable of working faster and better than people and don't have any needs apart from energy, a screwdriver and some oil here and then. The Society is moving into the 3rd millenium and it's planning on staying a little longer in this wicked system of things.

  And more important, machines don't spread uber-secret materials on apostate forums on the Internet.

  i never knew who was controlling my life.

  i didn't know who they were, how they governed, what they personally believed etc.. granted the wtbts never put any of that out there but there are people who knew them and would of course relate "experiences" of meeting them and from that you could derive certain aspects of their personality.. i never thought to investigate the leadership until i started asking questions.. so how many are there now and what are their names?

  i would like to ask my family if they can name them by heart.

  help please, plus the elder whos coming to visit me at 6 who thinks im going to be nice and let him in and get brain washed in to going back is a realy nice person and im softy so im not gona be in im gona leave letter on door for him to take,im going movies wi kids.

  I wrote in my DA letter something like this: Starting from this day, I abdicate from respecting and believing the principles and doctrines emanated from the Flaky and Deranged Slavedriver. And personally gave it to an elder. He was surprised, wanted to talk me into not doing the DA-ing, but I was pretty aggressive and cut his speech. Later that day he called me and said the elders want to meet with me and discuss the problem. I told him we have nothing to speak of, my will was clearly expressed on that piece of paper so goodbye forever. That was saturday. The announcement was given to the congo tuesday evening. I was dead, buried and I have risen from the dead on the 3rd day! And behold, I am alive!

  Can anyone tell if I was DA-d on my own will or did the elders have the meeting without me and DF me for apostasy? What is the usual practice?

  A Possible Reason Why Some Want To Be Jehovah's Witnesses

  i think some want to be witnesses even if they know some of the teachings and views are questionable because they feel special!.

  if they get a "privilege" or are allowed to pioneer or allowed to preach from house to house and be "ministers", they feel like they are somebody.. what do you think?

  Part of the reason I was a JW was because I thought the unmarried women were well educated and willing to marry. The first one is true, but the second is not. No passion, just religious doctrine both in their heads and hearts. They think only of pioneering and not having children these days. My marriage prospects were rejected by sisters who were not the most beautiful women I could have had, neither were they the most intelligent, not the richest. But because they were "spiritual", they were expecting some Bethelite, elder or God knows what type of BORG big-fish. In some part I dunked in the lake to get myself some p...sy!

  In my ex-congo in Romania we had a girl around 18 years old who had a mental retard. Probably Down syndrome, I don't know. She also had some facial features that betrayed her. She went in field service, accompanying others, but she was not the one to speak. Only accompanied. She did not answered on Sundays at the Wt study, but she could read and write gymnasium level. I don't think the BORG sent het into field slavery, but rather she chose to go. These people have emotional issues and are always struggling with their self-esteem. Field service gave her a sense of accomplisment and high dose of self-respect. I think field service was good for her.

  Something a JW Told Me A While Back

  a jw told me a while back as i was leaving - "you will never find friends in the world that are like those in the organiation".. i smiled to myself and thought "god, i hope not".

  Don't judge the JW who say "We have not seen you at the meetings lately". Some of them have a sincere interest and some feelings about you, but don't have other words to express them. It's an educational hole. I used to speak this words too, but only to those whom I cared for. There might be genuine feelings behind these words.
