It's a pretty generic cover. Silhouettes on a hill against the backdrop of a sunset, with dark clouds in the sky so you have a place to put the text. I'm sure it's been done a million times.
But that's pretty funny. The guy in front even has a freaking Gandalf staff.
i loved reading the yearbook each year as soon as it came out....lots of encouraging experiences and they were all true of course, like this one from africa..... yearbook 1967 p.105 "a large crowd was following a man who had a talking serpent {like the muppets}...the serpent gave greetings and spoke in foreign tongues {college educated maybe}....a brother passing by went into the house, as soon as he did the serpent stopped talking.

Sparlock wasn't a character, he was a prop. The prop was also only in 1 section of the whole dvd.
Disney doesn't own the domain for every character they create. They got the main ones.

HAH, this is hardly a bad thing.
This is the internet; attempts at censorship just make things spread faster here.
It's also hypocritical. Do they want to 'spread the good news' or not? Taking it off youtube accomplishes the exact opposite.
It's not like they plan to make any money off its sale, they give the videos away for free at the conventions and congregations.
my daughter is unbaptized but is recognized as jw since she goes out door to door.
a baptized brother in high standing took some interest in her (staring, flirting, hanging about, hugging while intoxicated then keeping his distance before going back again and then withdrawing again ) and she ended up getting emotionally attached to this jerk & let him know.
in between long drawn out silences he turned her down, saying "i don't know you" though he'd had long conversations with her (though would ignore her the following day after they had any close alone time) she said "all the jw stuff aside, did you ever like me as well?
Turns out I have a harder time grasping how men think than most women do.
Seems like something made him switch from thinking: "I'm dating a soon-to-be witness so it's ok" to thinking: "I'm dating a worldly girl, this is wrong."
Then again, if he's getting drunk and huggy but still in good standing, I'm at a loss.
Not knowing anything else about the conversation. Her question: "All the Jw stuff aside, did you ever like me as well?" Makes it sound like he's rejecting her for religious reasons. And she wants to know if he'd date her if it wasn't against the rules.
But hey, it sounds like they're breaking up. So at least it's ending well.

I opened this thinking. Oh cool, I'll get to see what's being released before everyone else does again.
Then I see what looks like a Jimmy Neutron rip-off styled cartoon. And immediately thought. "Hah hah, very funny. Like that's what was really released this year"
It took me until around the 6th post here to realise it was dead serious. . . I'm still a bit dubious. Is that REALLY what's been released this year?
Not a new reasoning book updated for all the new light? Not a verse by verse study of the book of psalms or something?
my wife and i were chatting about this last night.
having left the jws, we quickly became heavily involved in a born-again christian church, and the culture associated with it.. i've completely jettisoned any faith in supernatural god beings, and we were chatting about how intense christians are about god and how much they expect their version of the sun god to do in their lives.. however, as witnesses, you always had a fairly low expectation of jehovah, right?
you never really expected him to "show up" and help you, did you?.
None of the witnesses I know expect jack squat from God until Armageddon.
The literature always points out: "Of course we don't expect miraculous protection from god in these last days"
or: "Christians are no longer speaking in tongues or performing miraculous healings in our day"
Without ever bothering to explain why that is.
They seem to deliberately avoid praying for anything concrete. They don't pray to god that their relatives survive some illness. Or to keep them safe. Or to provide food. Or anything which could possibly fail to happen.

this personality does not help with shepherding the flock (other brothers pick up their slack, their too shy for judicial committes), they are not upbuidling for the brothers and sisters (their long lost stuttering problem resurfaces when asked to call m.i.a.
congregation memebers) and they are useless for widows and orphans (i can't help little father-less davie, my online role playing games are all time consuming!
Seems you might be confusing 'introverted' with 'shy'.
Shyness inticates a fear of bieng in a social situation.
I'm an introvert, I also used to be shy. Now I'm just an introvert.
I'm not afraid of social situations and I do just fine. I simply dislike them.
