If my wife would have done that to me, I would have said, that she was the one looking up the apostate info and that I gave her the first chance to go to the elders [which is the proper protocol] and that she just took the first swing, I would have thrown it back on her and there is nothing she or the elders could do. and from now on do as I do, even though my wife is against the society, I still every day delete the history and temp. files. You are in a very bad situation, she will stop at nothing to either make you tow the line or catch you red handed. I would not put it past someone like this to even video tape you on line, Watch your back. Very sad to have to say this about your own household. She will even turn the kids against you. They can't get two witnesses against you unless you talk to other dubbers. You can tell your wife you hate hova and the whole idea of god and the society is just a made up bunch of carp. then when she runs to the stazi, you can say I have no idea what she is talking about, she is just trying to get out of the marriage with out being the bad guy. These elders are usually very nasty but not to smart.

Lots of Bethelites Not Happy With Downsizing
by Seeker4 ini had a long conversation last night with an old jw friend whose sister and brother-in-law are bethelites since the 1970s.
she is an artist, and he runs a small but important department there.. we were talking about the bethel downsizing (my friend was well aware of it), and i told him i figured his sister and b-i-l would be safe due to the fact that they are now in their 60s and have something close to 4 decades seniority.
but he said no, that they were worried that they would be asked to leave as well, sent into the circuit work or as special pioneers sent where the "need is great.".

Look what the retirement plan was for the R&F! Why should it be different for the bethelites? The end is so close why worry about it?
I have an aunt that lives with her daughter and here dubber son who is separated form his wife, and they have nothing because they did not save a dime, not a penny for retirement, these bethelites have nothing and some who put their lives into it will have no retirement, not even social security. But these people looked down on us, they were the ones who were closer to "god" as it were, now that the sky is falling chicken little wants a little sympathy? Well not from me, I have a cousin in bethel, he married a bethel Pilipino, and she was the person who took care of Franz when he was "out of it" and if they get booted, even though they are nice people, I have no sympathy, Remember they look at us as people who just do not get it, who have been misled by satans system blablabla. So when the end of the world does not work out for these people with their heads in the sand, It reminds me of a Bronx tale, where the kid tells the Italian mob boss he was sad when Mickey mantle cried, and he replied, you were sad? do you think for one min, that Mickey would give a crap if your dad lost his job driving a bus and lost his home? Mickey don't give a crap about you, why should you give a crap about Mickey mantle?
This thinking sums up my feeling for bethelites, They look down on people like me, some make fun. most look at us and shake their heads like we were just sentenced to 20 years for raping a 9 year old.
I had a partner for 12 years that was a dubber, he would leave me on the job to run to the meetings, I worked and saved for years to be semi retired now. most of these people have gotten their reward, the feeling of being special "gods chosen" but you know when you are sixty that does not pay the electric bill

The way it was explained to me is that it is for security purposes. the KH's with windows are usually older then 20 years. when they let the people at the halls do the design. now a congergation is given only a couple of options [prints] from the org. they are with out windows as it is much harder to B&E with out windows. Windows are the weakest link in the chain. but it is also a conform tactic, I saw one congergation build a watch tower to mimic the one on the old mag. They were told to take it down. now you can pick a design based on the size of your cong. from the socitys plans. like ford cars in the 30's henry said you can have any color you want as long as it is black.

There is no reason to feel sympathy for any of these people, they have the same minds and access to the same information we all did, if they choose to ignore it, then they have made their decisions and I feel nothing for them when reality crashes in on them,
Do you thing they feel one bit of sympathy for any of you when something happens in your life? Heck no they don't, they just sit and shake there head and say how could so smith have turned away from the true religion?
I take a hard view, and have no sympathy for sheep, sheep are not a particularly admirable animal, they are week, and they can fall over dead just from a good scare.

I can say first hand that the elders were the biggest gossips, Nor* Guardner of Vanderbuilt Mi, I used to hang out with his kid, and I could always hear him telling his fat ass wife lorn* all the dirt on every meeting he had been involved with.
She loved to hear the crap, I guess I would tell her gossip if I were married to her to, if it would keep me from having to sleep with her, uggg, I used to call them BJ and the bear, as N. Guardner used to truck for the socity, he loved the pointed boots double clutching trucker crap.
Guardner telling his wife was very common, most elders tell the wives everything that goes on in the commity room, I think they wack off thinking about who is doing who.

that was the one belief that really had a grip on me growing up.
i was terrified of demons and even thought i was being attacked one night for bringing home a toy with a pagan symbol (ying-yang) on it.

I know exactly what you are saying, I can clearly remember in the early 70's as a small kid, going to the big assembly in Detroit, There was a talk that was nothing but one after another stories about demon attack, It made an impression on me, so much so, that I had a horrible dream that night about demon attack.
I had problems leaving the cult in my late 30's still looking at material items as is it possessed.
To any one who has been in the cult for years will know exactly what I am saying, many dubbs do not even go to yard sales for fear of getting something "demonized"
I even remember the "smurf scare of the mid 80's" when people would shun others for letting their kids watch, or even have smurf PJ's
It took me many years of self therapy to get over the delusion of demons being under every rock and behind every tree.
This is I believe instilled in the rank and file to keep them in line, what a better way to keep people in line than fear. I can tell story after story of people who really believe that they are being attacked by demons, and aint it funny that it is always dubbers? and not just any dubber, but the most fanatical believers.
They will say that "the demons attack hova's people" aint that convenient, it is post hock, add hock and every other kind of reasoning that does not hold to any sort of reason.
I know enjoy a life free of demon worry, and I pick up the good deals at flea markets.
Just to give an idea of how this sort of mind conditioning works, have you ever went to sleep right after watching a horror movie? Many times you have bad dreams, your mind feeds on what you put into it. Why do people who are nutbar followers of the catholic faith have stigmata? If you put crap into your head you will get crap out.
If you don't believe me just look a the suicide bombers of the middle east. They really think they are going to heaven, and some Christian people really believe in demon possession.
If we could just get ride of religion out of this world and educate people, think of how much better a place this would be.
No more dead gods on crosses or stakes, "nice image the babble gives us aitn it" no more idiots in 1k$ suits telling us not to watch Dan browns new movie, no more Jack van gimpy. not more Freddy brown shoes, and the list goes on and on

They made another run at me.
by kilroy2 ini was watching law and order last night at 10pm when the door bell rung.
i was in my red long underwear and jumped up to put on my jeans went down stairs to answer the door, i always turn on the light and look thought the peeper to make sure charlie manson is not knocking, no manson but two of my local elders from the hall.
i have not had any one from the hall take a run at me for at least a couple of years.

If they would have come up the other walk way and looked in they would have seen our christmas tree. I think that would have pushed them over the top. as it is the darwin fish seemed to have them reeling. not to mention the us flags.
They kept asking if my loyalty was to the usa or to hovah, I told them my loyalty was to ME.
