I had another member of my family die, I was not close to her. She was a baptized dubber that had left many years ago, but defended the cult to the death. no pun intended. When her son and family went to ask D. schroder if Vicky could have him do the eulogy at the funeral home, they were turned down. She was living with a man for the past 10 years. My question is dose any one pref. an elder know what the position of the society is on giving eulogy's for people who are not current dubbers? To clarify this a little more, where is the line, do you have to be in good standing and going to meetings? time in service? what about people who just go to memorial and are in good standing? people who have not attended any meetings for the last 2 years? or is it people who are not living the life that can be seen from the elders prospective? I.E. smoking, living out of wedlock, ect.? I will tell you one thing this does more to make people look critical at the society than all the ranting I could ever do. I was wondering why my wife's family have not visited her in 3 years, and I now know that I am considered df'ed or at least self dis'a'ed, Well fuck them in the mouth. I could give a shit. they are the sweat of dead men's balls. I have moved on and up. But I am still wondering about the reasons that they can not preformed service at a non dubber funeral?

While a JW, Did You Ever Let On That You Were "Going Apostate"?
by minimus ini never did, although i did tell my former bible student/tennis partner that the bible does not condemn celebrating birthdays or recommend celebrating anniverseries.
he told his jw brother who told his elders who told my po.
when the po asked me about the conversation, i told him he asked me some questions and i truthfully answered., i said, "nothing i said was wrong or incorrect".

I worked with an elder. we were partners, and on the ride to and from jobs, I would slam the wtbts on all the things I had learned on the internet.
He never once said anything to any other elder. Daryl K always would just say "you have good points, I cant answer your questions"
But daryl was all about the attention he got from the dubbots when he got on stage, I know he got wood from it.
But I would slam the society hard. and one day he made the statment about another religion, the you just got out of one cult you dont want to get into another.

UN Question
by kilroy2 ini was thinking about the society being involved in the un, and then thought that they preached that the un was going to destroy all religion [nondubber] soon.
so when they got involved in the un do you think it was because they know that they are full of shit?
or do they justify their bull shit by some nonsensical reasoning?

Nazi Germany the enlisted man on the front line was not the one who should have known better, it was the officers at the top making the rules that were hung in the end. And I hope some day some where these assholes get hung.
They sure don't get laid. -

Personally I think that they are so deluded as to believe their own lies. the GB is a good case for euthanasia

There is no way you will be happy if you keep going down that road, it is a loose loose situation.
Take it from many here who have spent years and some spent $ getting out of a vindictive and controlling cult.
You can avoid it by walking now. If you don't listen and go ahead you were warned. I hope you don't have to burn yourself on the stove to prove it was hot.

My sympathy to you on your loss, I lost my mother 4 years ago and unless you have went thought it you cant begin to know the pain.
The society is like a bad drug, it can do damage to people who are not strong enough to get off of it. and there is no step program, you have to go cold turkey or not at all, there is not little bit of unbelieving. I have people I have known for many years, and some are arrogant and deserve the disappointment they get, others are sincere and their lives have been ruined, I would have no problem acquitting a former dubber who blew up one of the societies buildings, No I am not advocating wrong doing, just saying I would understand, some one who has given up the only life they get and now nothing, you get shit form the society, and you are 80 and can only look back and see what a load of shit it all was. I am so glad at 29 I started to see what a load of shit they were feeding us. you know shit in due season.

Does the WTBTS still control your life?
by Honesty indo you follow the arrangement dictated by the governing body of jw's regarding df'd and da'd individuals?
do you shun the jw's like you are expected to by wt leaders or do you speak to jw's and greet them with a smile even if they shun you when you do so?
in complying with wtbts rules of acceptable behavior for da'd or df'd persons do you think that you are showing unconditional love to your neighbor?
