I knew for a fact that they get free rooms for Bethelites, didn't know they get a money kicback. Makes sense, thinking about it now it doesn't surprise me a bit.

So being friends with you would be disrespecting her mother but shacking up with her boyfriend is OK. You just cannot always find reason and make sense out of nonsense. Don't spend too much time on it

Now that we plan for Retirement
by designs inone of the big adjustments for many of us was growing older and realizing retirement was a reality.
did you have a company or government retirement package or personal ira or 401k.
what advice would you give the 20 to 60 year olds coming to term with 'life in this system'..

I lost $125,000 from my 401k in the '08 economic bust. It really was not earned money, my 401k was at about what I had put into it. Anyway, I took the rest of it out, paid the taxes on it and bought a (retirement) house. Now I have two homes, very little mortgage, when I sell one I should be OK, hoping the real estate market comes back. Just couldn't risk the Wall Street thieves getting the rest of it.

If it is the truth, be a good JW, obey the org and you can spend eternity singing kingdom songs and shoveling lion poop

Many Car marques are astrological/pagan/sex connection therefore JW must abandon them or walk
by mP inheres something i love to tell jw which nearly always stuns them.. nobody would buy a car called the satan, or if its logo was phallic, or was named after baal, but the facts are nearly all three of these are present in a vast majority of todays cars.
as one can examine there are a lot of things present that a good xians should avoid.
in many cases there are puns on names, but still.. toyota.

Having now to play "catch up" in preparation for retirement and old age. Should of went to college, should of worked at my career as if the future depended on it, should of stayed with a worldly girl that I was crazy about, should of, should of, should of.......all we can do now is move on making the best of and improve if we can whatever circumstance we find ourselves in. Enjoy life.

It was "evidence" of holy spirit that got me
by irondork inwhen i got disfellowshipped at age 19 for alcohol and sex with, uhm... several others, i deserved it.
after that i took a nose dive into drugs and alcohol and the whole nightclub party scene in wash. d.c.. it didnt take long for my life to start falling apart.. .
eveidence that leaving jehovahs organization was the wrong thing to do.. .

The "invisible" Elephant in the room: ELDERLY JW's nobody provides for
by Terry inquestion: how does the leadership of jehovah's witnesses instruct its members to prepare for the eventual elder care of its members?.
answer: it pretends it will never happen!.
is this responsible leadership or some kind of cognitive dissonant malfeasance?.

Official WT policy is to use all available government resources first. Irony is they pay no taxes. Bethel heavy weights have nothing to worry about for the rest of thier live.

Drawings of NEW Watchtower World Headquarters in Warwick, New York
by Alfred inscroll down to last few pages to see the drawings.... http://www.townofwarwick.org/wt_con/_appendix%20m_swppp%20&%20drawings.pdf.
among the ammenities are a sand volley ball court, two tennis courts and a full basketball court.... there's also parking garages and picnic areas for visitors.... by the way, not sure exactly what this is but you'll notice a shaded area labelled "undergound chamber"... interesting.... (i wonder if moving out to the middle of nowhere was intended to keep bethelites from sneaking out at night and going to the liquor store... just saying).

If they reason all this construction is for post armegeddon, just point out that it shows a lack of faith in Jeh. The bible ex. to support that is in the Hebrew scriptures when the Jews were finally taking the Promised Land, it wasn't just real estate, it was cities, vineyards, heards, homes, everything Jeh took away from the inhabitants that built it all to give to the Jews. All the Jews had to destroy were the highplaces, alters, places of worship to false gods. So, just question the dub, "don't you think Jeh will provide just what we need?"
