All previous posts maybe true, also what is true is the money just keeps pouring in and cant spend it fast enough. Another multi-million dollar project in the works, a state of the art media production facility. As long as the money is pouring in watchtower is good, anything negetive is persecution which proves we are right.

are they saying it’s “vital” or is it just a “suggestion?” .

So JW's don't use idols, or you could say symbols in their worship, but go ahead down to the corner grocery/liquor store and buy symbols of Jesus body and blood.

Probably about the same thing as if they knew you were on this site. Really, who cares what they think about your own private life.

When was your last Kingdom Hall meeting?
by RULES & REGULATIONS ini stopped going to kingdom hall meetings about nine years ago.
i was fading for the longest time, refused to go out in field service, dropped out of the ministry school talks, no longer answered at the watchtower study, arrived at the meetings the last second, and left as soon as possible.
i couldn't take attending the meetings any longer.

Tiger Woods
by minimus inwhat do you think of him?
i know he’s a great golfer.
we know he just got into a major car accident (again).. i respect his golfing abilities but personally i’ve never cared for him and i think the press glorifies him sooo much.

I know I would not loan him my car. He can also be about the worst sore loser you ever saw. Great at golfing a ball so the world makes him a mega millionaire. The world puts high value on skills that dont count for anything except entertainment, sports, acting. -

Calm down everyone, it all has to do with that tricky "0" year. It's so clear you have to multiply that "0" year by 10 for earthly completeness, subtract 1 because it was already figured in, add 99 to 1914 and that's it! End of Gentile Times 2013. Plain as day.

Why does God need to be worshipped?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inthe bible exhorts us to “worship the one who made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters.”—deuteronomy 4:24; revelation 14:7.. insight on the scriptures, volume 2 pp 1200-1202. worshipone of the hebrew words conveying the idea of worship (ʽa·vadhʹ) basically means “serve.” (ge 14:4; 15:13; 29:15) serving or worshiping jehovah required obedience to all of his commands, doing his will as a person exclusively devoted to him.
(ex 19:5; de 30:15-20; jos 24:14, 15) therefore, for an individual to engage in any ritual or act of devotion toward any other gods signified his abandoning true worship.—de 11:13-17; jg 3:6, 7.another hebrew term that can denote worship is hish·ta·chawahʹ, which primarily means “bow down” (ge 18:2), or do obeisance.
(see obeisance.

I've always said, even on this forum years ago, if I ever saved someone's life I would say "buy me a beer and we'll call it square."
