  following on the heels of what bowen said about ray, i began to see a statement that real soon began to get under my skin.

  i've read it several times since and i hafta say: that little irritant is beginning to fester more than i care for.

  the statement was something in the neighborhood of, "let's not get side-tracked with this franz / bowen fiasco and remember who our real enemy is... the watchtower society!".

  That was excellent Teejay. Except for the black part you wrote the story of my life. When we were children we could blame our parents, now that we are adults we need to take responsibility for ourselves. Seems you have done just that, at a much younger age than me. Thanks for this post.

  Perhaps, you could address the issues that concern most of us, child abuse, shunning, flip flops in beliefs, 1975, and a whole lot more. Surly you can defend the WTBS on all of these issues.

  well my worst two jobs had to be when i lived in mexico about three years ago.

  i got a job as a telemarketer.

  Compared to my current job, retirement, all my previous jobs were horrible. I would go back to work, if the money was right, but the boss sure better treat me nice.

  I Need To Gain Weight??

  i am so bummed!

  i went to the doctor yesterday and he said that i was too thin and that i need to gain 5 or 10 pounds.

  i don't understand why.

  Dutchie,

  My favorite way to gain weight is to look at or smell fattening foods. I swear, looking at a picture of fattening food will get it done. Not sure where your Doctor is coming from, but if you only need to gain five pounds it doesn't sound as if you are grossly under weight. You will no doubt receive plenty of advice on this thread about how best to gain. Take care.

  after reading about how we now have an increase in the lord's organization, i must wonder whether we think that their data is reliable.

  the society has used "theocratic stratergy" for years and lied about anything that is in their best interests.

  why take any stock in what they say about anything.

  Very good benext !! I will remember that.

  Our son was born in 1967, and his mother and I were told he might not have to go to school in this old system of things. Guess what, he is now 35 and holds a masters degree in english. Go Figure.

  Gave up cigarettes some 30 years ago, and will never smoke again, because I don't want to have to quit again. Love beer but not drinking the stuff has never bothered me. Now we come to coffee. If Juan Valdez should suddenly stop producing the stuff I would want one of you to shoot me.

  Update on Tn Tornado's

  hey everyone...tink is spending the night at her younger brothers and called me a few minutes ago with an update i thought you would be interested in.. the tornado was ranked as an f3.

  two people died in coffee county (manchester,tn).

  one 10 year old and an older man around his late 40's.

  Those of us living in the Texas Panhandle well know the power of a tornado. The one that came thru our little city picked up a 35,000 pound piece of equipment (a lathe, as I remember it) and moved it some 10 feet. It wasn't bolted down because no one thought that was possible.

  People do respond to a disaster such as the one you have been thru. In our case we had police patrols who came in from neighboring towns, prisoners from the local prison, churches, the Red Cross, Salvation Army and probably some I've missed, all wanting to help.
