I'm already 66, is that old ?? Please define "ripe old age." You young squirts don't have enough to do these days. Get over here and wash my truck, mow my yard, dig up the flower bed and paint the shed.

Life is life and it's so boring
by Nicolas ini have a been a little jehovah witness from the age of five years old to the age of eighteen and i still can't find a way to appreciate the life.
now i'm nineteen years old and i don't know what to do with this life and i'm almost always at my computer, in my bedroom.

Nicolas,
The previous posters here have given you some excellent advice. L.B. gave you several choices, including his personal choice, scuba. Mine is photography, thus the name, shutterbug. Now neither one of these things may be your "thing" but, believe me there is something out there that you will enjoy. But, we can't do these things for you, that is where you come in. Find something you enjoy and get out there and do it.
As you can see, the folks on this forum can and want to be helpful. The rest is up to you. Best wishes.

I fought the stairs and the stairs won...
by Trauma_Hound inif i seem out of it, for the next few days, it's because i fell down a flight of stairs, slipped on the carpeted stairs in my bare feet, and broke my tail bone, and split a toe open, and had to have stitches.
so i'm on heavey narcotics, and if you need to get ahold of me in any amount of time, then a phone call is the best bet.
ciao for now.

Ozzie,
It is easy to understand why Mr. Carr might be a tad upset. Not too long ago a fellow here in the US started a forest fire so he could get some work fighting the thing. Wish I knew what goes thru peoples minds when they do these criminal acts.

Did Being JW make YOU a Social Misfit or HERMIT?
by Smoldering Wick inas i sat quietly in my apartment...staring at the computer screen, i got this overwhelming feeling of being totally alone.
don't get me wrong, i feel comfortable alone.
but, how did i end up this way?

Wick,
Obviously you are not alone, there are too many of us in the same shape you. However you did open my eyes somewhat. I was a loner from the time my mother started forcing me to go to the Kingdom Hall at the age of 12 until the present. My wife, for some reason, is much the same way, so we really don't seem to have the same problem with it as others, and we do have each other. But, is this good? Should we get out more? Probably, we will just have to see. Thanks for sharing.

Scootergirl,
No snow in your area? We are sitting on 8 inches of the cold stuff here in the Texas Panhandle. Is there any way we can ship the stuff up to you? Bill

A side of the family asks you to attend a birthday party, which you did for a "few hours." That begs the question, "how long do birthday last in your area"? Apparently your Dad wants you to be at his disposal at anytime and as long as he wishes. Doing this for someone you know very little about is asking a bit much. I suspect there will always be a problem when you attend any function where your Dad is present

Are there any Asians living in Asia ?? Is that a serious question, I suspect there are only a billion or two living there.
