Secrect of your Marriage

who here has been married...10 years or more?is it a great marriage and what is the secret of keeping it together?

Well, *doing the sums*... I was 20 and now I am...27..so going on 7 years this November... and I am thinking I'd get more time for First Degree murder! Naaaah.. it is all about honesty *gagging .. but it is true*.... patience ....and the ability to both smile when steam is coming out of your ears... and to have a steamy bedroom.... ahh... to do the things you love alone and as a couple.... To remember for everything they do that pisses you of..one thing that makes you love them intensely.. and vice versa....* sigh*.. LOL.. Oh God... I am so glad hubby doesn't visit here... *shhhh*....

So true Richard..AKA Skeptic.. I fail to see how a religion is ever given the right to delve into the goings on in peoples bedrooms.. each to their own and ENJOY it guilt free! :)

Romance status

just curious as to who is single and who is not on this board.i have been with my boyfriend going on 3 years now.

we just moved in together in feb.for the most part we get along great but he has some weird habits.he also thinks i spend too much time on this site(which i do...but heck i finally belong!!

)so its hard to relate to him on the subject.he thinks i should just forget about it.sometimes i think i might be better off with someone who has more or less been where i have.

Well, I left the org @17 and took a few years of living WILDLY and catching up on life.. met an Italian catholic ( not the good kind*W*), married and still am... Happy As Larry! ( generally)

Why the hell do I have this pathetic life?

i' so tired of this.

sometime, i'd just like to say goodbye cruel world but, it would be too easy to do this.

when i was in the borg, they were telling me that when someone go out of the org, he have a lot of problems and that's exactly what happen to me.

All I can say is..stick with your counselling, it will give you ways and avenues of building up confidence and self esteem...Everyone is worthy of existing ...With self confidence and esteem the world is your oyster..pursue new friendships, study a field you are interested in...It will all come together for you.. you just have to plod thru and realise you deserve to enjoy ALL life has to offer...

I'll have to agree with some of your points, Marriage can be a restrainer...( real word..???)..But as a woman..a married woman, I can honestly say..I dont have a problem with opposite sex relationships..it is healthy..totally.. you do need a variety in life.different people to bring out different things about you...Also, to be honest as well, the first thing with my Husband and I was physical.. for both of us.. that is nature..pure nature.. the reproduction of the species is paramount.. None of this fluffy feelings stuff in science..( my field)...Society puts these constraints on us all ...do you stay defacto..? just casual..? marry..? gay...? anyhow... you are "made" to form a "couple" as such..and for me it was a choice..though I am not typically " exclusive" and that is a mutual decision and socially this is frowned upon...as it can go against "nature"..ooh going off the deep end..but just trying to say.. you can be married, defacto,gay,single whatever...even serve your purpose on this earth... to reproduce and still enjoy life ..it is all about choice and free will... :) and hopefully you can find somone of like mind..( dont ever try to change someone.. never happens right .... should never happen...) because that makes life wonderful, I am not directing this at ANYONE.. just a general view..
