Are you a fader, Df'd, DA'd, or Still In?

i thought this would be an interesting poll that would show everyone the backgrounds of all of us when we left, if we have.. for myself, i am not df'd, but i am attempting a fade.

i still go to some meetings with the wife to help with kids, but that's it.

no commenting or field service.. what about everyone else?.

i've been told this by many witness peers over my life, especially when talking about apostasy.... that's how the governing body likes to run things; if you leave their organization and are still true to "christian morals and ethics" then you are "having your cake and eating it too.

" for some reason they don't believe that you can live a life acceptable before god without their micromanagement in all our lives.. i wanted to tell you guys/gals an analogy i came up with:.

you have a son and you want to to get him vaccinated for whooping cough because it's going around.

i kinda figured i would read many negative things concerning jw, i was not disapointed............ i say if you ae not happy not just in the jw, but anywhere, life it too short move on.. .

i myself am a wittness, an anointed witnes .

there is no shame is sharing yr hope and i am varry happy with mine.

Attended meeting last night

i was almost as worried as if i was giving a talk instead of my wife last night.

i parked and they went in well before me.

i gathered my thoughts and realized that it was only proper that way.

Do you miss "dressing up" for the meetings?

i was thinking about this the other day when doing a bit of tidying up of my wardrobe.

all the kh suits are now pushed to the back of the wardrobe and i am seriously thinking about a visit to the charity shop to get rid of most of them.. for me one of the (few) enjoyable aspects of being a jw was getting dressed up.

my secular work very rarely involves putting on a dress suit & tie so i miss getting dressed up - smart suit , tie , shiny shoes , slapping on the aftershave.

i just spent about 45 minutes talking to this nice guy jw that became a jw about 10 years ago at the age 40. had a very interesting talk about wt history/ present truth.

the best part was what the wts lied to him about.

i get the feeling he will look up some of the stuff.

The longest prayer ever done scenario

what if a deaf brother sign the longest prayer ever recorded like one hour or two hours, do you think the audience will disappear before he signs amen?

Just got ahold of "secret elders meetings" notes.

cant say how,but i am in possession of about 10 years worth of elders meetings notes.financial info,personal lists,signed letters etc.disfellowshipping meeting minutes,the works.it is unbelieveable.some of the note are "investigate so and so,she was seen at a movie,talk to sister so and so about her weight,investigate the matter between so and so and so and so etc.

letters from circuit servant visits w/recommendatons.anyone got any ideas?there are even minutes of a meeting in which some of the elders "had words"...all in glorious initialed and signed paper.numbers,names,contributions..what should i do with this "blessing from hohoba?
