Need Help, Please!

we got a new dog and he needs a name!

he was abandoned by his family in their back yard when they moved and then was rescued by animal rescue.

he's been fostered for the last 4 months and his foster mom called him martin.

i was born into a family already some generations into jehovah's organization.

from the time i was four years old i can remember my birthday being no more significant than me turning four years old.

later i saw the significanse of it when my classmates had their birthdays, but i knew it was wrong.

Why was this congregation disolved - Sunflower Cong. of Santa Ana CA

i went to this congregation from 1969 to 1979. in 1979 it was dissolved and everyone was assigned to two new congregations.

i was only 10 yrs old, so nobody told me why.

but isnt it ususual for the sunflower name not to be carried over but two new ones to be made.

My worst friend

my wife is a social person who finds it very easy to find people she can connect with and have tons in common.

i am the complete opposite.

Thanks all, I have been off 2 days and feel quite well, and eating more veggies, so far so good.

Update & Moving on with life

hello all, just wanted to update you all on my further steps in the exiting process (a process that may never end in some respects).

to set up a context for my update: my story in a nutshel-.

did a quick fade in the fall of 2009 to start going to university and escape a very unhappy living situation.

My fade has hit the fan!

hi guys!

well the caca hit the fan!

a friend asked me why i am leaving the org and i told her.

jwfacts has a great point, when I initiated my fade, I tempered it with I Still believe in God, and Jesus is his son and my allegiance is to them. NOT the org (Borg) When the GB posted that WT article that "our salvation depends on how we treat the GB on earth today" I took exception and asked to show me in the bible where we are to follow a man on earth or group of men. No one in my family could show me that so they said " ok we understand"

It is a bridge, but alas a small token/gesture on how to keep the family, but not go to meetings.

Hope all goes well for you in the coming days/weeks/months. As long as you stay calm and cool, you will be fine
