Is there anything from the GB that isn't about them getting Money and Power?
by punkofnice insince i woke up from the delusion of the jw cult, i have seen things very differently.. it seems to me that all the gb and their suck ups gear up for is money and/or power.. eg.
brothers in cheap salesman suits on the platform.
the 'clean' image.

April "Pioneers" - a large army
by dozy inanecdotally , from my ( rapidly diminishing number of ) jw contacts , it does seem that the april 30 hour pioneer campaign is going well.
some congregations have over 1/2 the publishers on the pioneer list for april , including all the elders & ms. .

Meeting was totally soulless, joyless
by yadda yadda 2 ini went to a sunday meeting recently (for family reasons).
it was the first meeting i'd attended in a few years.
i couldn't help but notice how utterly soulless it was.

The meetings are NOT worship! They are sales seminars lead by dolts!

@Mary - This will be my first year of NOT attending ever.
I told Mrs Punk I could not attend a 'reject the Christ' ceremony that was a copy of the occult 'mock the Christ'. She was very angry with me and has subsequently chosen the GB over me. We still live together but it's awful now.
I find it amazing how she is now regular at all meetings, regular on FS when she just dragged her heels when I was an elder. What's that saying?!?!?
Any way. No. I will not be attending - I'm having communion at the Baptist Church instead...it's more friendly.
I think those who leave the Org are actually a LARGER army than the 30 hour fakers.
I am a 'spiritually weak apostate' that God has reserved a terrible death at armageddon for (subject to overlapping).

more of the same cheerleading and self-worship of the jw organization.. on page 14, they even pull a few quotes from the bible, but not their own!
that of course is because when freddy was writing his version of the bible, he forgot to put "organization" into the text, so now they pull a few quotes from these sources to justify worship of "organization!.

My desk drawer is 'organized' but I don't attribute this to proving God works thru' an organization.

May 15th WT - WT society uses Fear & Guilt to Prevent Materialism in JW's
by flipper inonce again , i couldn't resist sharing this wt study article from this issue.
it was just too good, or bad - depending on your perspective.
you will see the use of fear and guilt in this information - laying it on witnesses heavy as the title says " christian families - " keep ready " indicating armageddon is so close - so don't get wrapped up in materialism.. right from the get-go in the 1st paragraph fear tactics are used .

So, they go out in twos pious-sneering. Way I see it 60 hours between them for calling on the same doors together. Fake.
I heard they're banging on about how it's a huge shout of praise to Jar-Hoover.
Just a shout of boasting, faking hours, exaggerating experiences and cult peer pressure.
I predict there'll be an item in the Kingdumb Ministry asking for a demonstration or experiences based on the 'incentive'.

It seems to me that all the GB and their suck ups gear up for is MONEY and/or POWER.
EG. Brothers in cheap salesman suits on the platform. The 'clean' image. The 'campaigns' and leaflet drops. The way Kingdom Halls are financed and loans given with interest from HQ. The way the R&F pay for verything but the GB/Brooklyn, whoever own it all. Assemblies are more like sales seminars. 'Charity' = money for the GB not real relief work for non JW's.
Is it me or is it just about the cult leaders getting Money?
Is it the golden rule? He who has the gold makes the rules! ?????????

rich and james out of guilt, richard out of depression.. james and rich were both under 30 years old.. after richard wheelock (a bethel heavy) killed himself the society changed it's stand on whether suicides could be resurrectioned or not..
