  i just watched the oprah interview.

  i know that many view them with little interest as just entitled wastes of space and i get that.. however, the description of how they were "trapped" and silenced and forced into perpetuating the system with little or no personal freedom rang bells for me.

  they are effectively shunned, estranged and disparaged by their family and cut off from support.

  The Oprah interview gave me terminal piles.

  Lots of assertions with no substance or background. Just Oprah pausing and going, 'what?'. It was a cringe fest. Oprah did not interview. She did not ask the questions we all wanted to ask. It was poor pantomime.

  This thing about being asked the colour of the baby. There was no context provided. Just Oprah going, 'what' like she'd just soiled her knickers.That Meghan didn't want to say who said it, let alone offer context, invalidated her claim. It makes it seem like race baiting.

  I'm now sick to the back teeth of the pair of them. I shall not be paying anymore attention to these attention seeking people. Now, begone with you!

  If people take offence where none is meant, that's their problem.

  It seems that the tail is wagging the dog at the moment. It's about time this stupidity stopped.

  When a person starts finding a reason to be offended by the gender of a plastic potato or a brand name, then they need medication not adulation.

  UK 6pm cerfew for all man?!

  here in the uk, we've had a recent missing persons case which has turned into a potential murder inquiry.. sarah everard (33), disappeared on wed 3 march in london.

  human remains were subsequently found in a wood near ashford, kent, and a met police officer has been arrested on suspicion of murder.. horrible events, and the issue of women feeling unsafe on the streets certainly needs discussing.. but surely not what baroness jones suggested: tabling an amendment for a 6pm curfew for all men.

  wtf???.

  i stopped going to kingdom hall meetings about nine years ago.

  i was fading for the longest time, refused to go out in field service, dropped out of the ministry school talks, no longer answered at the watchtower study, arrived at the meetings the last second, and left as soon as possible.

  i couldn't take attending the meetings any longer.

  i know i have made some uncomfortable at times and others have thanked me for telling them about the cult because some family member is one and they thought it was a bad cult but did not know details.

  personally i take every chance i get to tell others about the cult.

  what`s wrong with american politics ?.

  96% of american people who got off there arse to vote, chose hillary clinton to be president of the united states of america over donald trump.. and the electoral college overode the will of the majority of the people who bothered to vote , and gave the office of president to donald trump who was the 2nd choice, an also ran , of the will of the people.. it`s a furphy to say that some larger blue/red states can dictate to smaller red/blue states or vice versa to rig the elections ,simply because people can, and do change there preferences in any one state whether it be traditionally red or blue.. both democrats and republicans are both guilty and responsible for the gerrymander that is the electoral college.. there i`ve said it ,.

  nobody else seems to be able to say it how it is ,.

  This racist nonsense has been debunked. That fraud Robin DeAngelo was only pedalling this snake oil for her own ends. I've read sections of her book and there is racism against black people in it. Then she advertised that you can pay her money and she will cure you.

  I've had enough of this insanity.
