A warm welcome to the many newbies who have joined and posted these past months .
by smiddy3 init is truly heartwarming to see so many new ones sign up to this site as most of us know it can be quite stressful at first ,because of the indoctrination we have all gone through in going on apostate sites .. the guilt ,paranoia ,fear , apprehension ,even being a judas fear, all unnatural fears put on us by a mind controlling cult.. that wants us to be captives of there religious interpretations about the bible.. however this and other sites like it are the only way we can find out about {the truth about the truth} ttatt.. welcome everybody..

What a wonderful time---for faders to fade away!
by eyeuse2badub ini’ve been thinking about it for a few weeks and i’m sort of surprised that no one else has introduced this topic!.
what better time than now for a fader to fade?
no meetings, no field service, no elder visits, no assemblies, no convention, and no other bullshit busy work going on.

The time for "fading" will be when things gradually return to "normal". One just has to say they are "at risk" and thus continuing with social distancing for a while longer (and a while longer, and a while longer), including NOT attending meetings (for a while longer).

There is the about the same risk these days as it was in the past. To blindly follow the GB/WTS means one will be ill prepared for life in the outside world. One will be poorly educated and likely socially inept. These and other factors will likely cause the person to be low income and ill prepared for the future.
I don't see it MORE risky than in the past because nothing really has changed. This (COVID issue) is just another "End of The World" moment for JW's. This will pass just as all the other have passed for the past 100 years and they will forget all about how fanatic they all were and mope around until the next event.
Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Marking and DFing are really the same thing
No they are not.
If you are DFd, other JW's can be "punished" (threatened with being DFd) for associating with you. If you're "marked" most people won't even remember the talk about it and only the Ricky Righteous crowd will shun you (and those that WANT to shun you). Your "friends" (real ones) can ignore the BS without serious consequences.

Covid-19 (Coronavirus) - Status Update Thread
by Simon inthis topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.
latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.
the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

Just because governments ease their restrictions and lift stay-at-home orders, DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE TO GO OUT! If you feel you are especially at risk, stay at home. Be safe!
COVID19 is a Pandora's Box. It's open. It's out. There will always be bugs.

Do the GB leaders of the JWS make its members delusionaly insane ?
by Finkelstein inthis particular question or evaluation of the people who are participating jws has come up before in debate.
the more one deeply analyzes this the answer usually comes up in the affirmative yes.
when you consider the fact that jws members will abandon their own family, go as far as kill themselves under the direction of these men, it really confirms just how deep the mental and conscious indoctrination these men have gone.. .

Do You Think It’s Time For Businesses To Reopen Even Though Coronavirus Is Not Obliterated?
by minimus ini think it’s time for business to reopen and let’s get the economy going again!

In most places, YES.
This thing is not going to "go away". It's a health consideration with which we will be contending for years to come. Just like influenza. Just like all other diseases/illnesses. Some people will just be sick (in one degree or another) for a few days or few weeks. Others, unfortunately, will suffer serious health consequences, and others will die from it.
We'll all be keeping more distance. Business will have to adapt to that. That's going to reduce the capacity of restaurants as the space the seating further as well as airlines as perhaps the center seat must be left open.
Many will be wearing masks indefinitely in hopes of being better protected though it seems masks are like condoms in that they just give you a false sense of security (while being screwed).
Be safe!

I despise those at the top of the Borg that are fully aware of the malicious scam they are playing and the harm it causes. Everyone else I just see as a "victim".

Once again, I feel very fortunate that I got past that delusional thinking about Joe Hoover before I was 60. Still wondering why it took so damn long. (Regrettably, "slow learner" here. But obviously not as slow as some other folks.)
Tara/Snowy, glad you are still alive & kicking. Caring for a family member with dementia is a very difficult job. The only "good" thing about it is perhaps there is some level of comfort that the ill persons has no idea how bad they are.On the other hand, enjoying one's grandchildren is a real blessing. Enjoy that!
Not sure why the need to bring up the Black "thing". Since I'm not running for any office as a Democrat, that really isn't pertinent information for me or this exchange of ideas. (I happen to have finally accepted the fact that Black humans evolved the same as White, Yellow, Red, etc humans. We're all in this mess together!)
Be safe! (Wash your hands!) and enjoy those grand babies!

Looks like there is talk of replacing Grabby-hands Joe.
It's NOT that they are appalled with the sexual abuse allegations (after all, he is not Kavenaugh).
It's that he's slipping and that's becoming apparent to everyone. He can't even read coherently from his own notes. What would he look like in a debate with Trump (or anyone else for that matter)?
IS JOE "OUT"?
