i stopped going to kingdom hall meetings about nine years ago.
i was fading for the longest time, refused to go out in field service, dropped out of the ministry school talks, no longer answered at the watchtower study, arrived at the meetings the last second, and left as soon as possible.
i couldn't take attending the meetings any longer.
At least five years here. Probably closer to 7 years.

Not sure where you live. Here in the USA, we just went through a winter disaster in many US States (surely you've read about Texas losing power to over 4 million) and Texas is where most of the oil in the US is produced. I think Trump will continue to be a huge influence in the Party. I think he will play a role in the 2022 elections for congress and I expect him to especially attempt to "overthrow" GOP House members that shunned him.
If he suggests that he might form a 3rd Party for the 2024 presidential election, that will shake up some in the GOP because they know they cannot win a damn thing if the Trump base deserts the GOP. (Not that the GOP will ever win the White House again with Dominion managing the vote.) Otherwise don't be surprised if Don, Jr. tosses his hat into the ring with Hawley and Haley and 20 other wanna-be narcissistic candidates.
