  This site is BAD for me!!!

  it's making me want to rush the convincing of my wife - i want confrontation now, and i want it to go good, and i want her out with me!

  how can you folks do this to me... before starting on this site i was just trying to get by myself w/ my decision - see what you've done!!!!

  now i'm convinced i have to talk to her and make her see what i see!!

  Remember when we first became JW's? There is an old expression.... to put ones in a box for 6 months before you let them out, since they cause more damage then help. It is no different once you learn the "truth" about the "lie." Baby steps with her or she will completely freak out on you. Take time to take it all in yourself first.....Then begin a planned decisive way to speak to her. Think, think, think first. She is still indoctrinated by the borg, and even though she loves you...she also has been brainwashed to tell elders about apostates. Even if it is your own family. Keep coming back here and vent away.

  Wife and kids left me

  long story short, (i'll post it later), after many years of problems with the wts my wife and kids left me and she has filed for divorce (no adultery was committed).

  feeling really sad right now.

  i was a great husband and father, however, i could not take the thought of going to any more meetings and have over the last year started to find was to avoid meetings.

  I am so sorry this has happened to you, and your children. Please remember that you have a right to raise your children. The congregation will make her feel that she has all rights, and since you have turned your back on Jeh that you have none. They will use your feelings of guilt against you. Please, Please, Please for your children's sake do not let this happen. Go after somekind of partial custody...it is there chance of having a real life. Find an attorney pronto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  its pants, sh*t, black, doom, gloom and don't spare the melancholy (pronounced mel-ankley if you are me).. what's brought this on?

  I really like some of the old AA sayings. "And this too shall pass." You will be a different person in a year then you are right now. Enjoy the journey..it is like a rollercoaster ride... ups and downs, spinning around. As long as you continue the ride until the end it is a hoot. Get off the ride in the middle, and it is detrimental to you.

  Loosing a relationship even if it was not the best is a "death of a dream." We all have pictures in our brain of what we want for ourselves, now the picture has to change. Change is always painful, but without change we do not grow. You have to grieve to be healthy. It is ok to cry, be sad, etc. As a JW we were never allowed to grieve, but it is human and necessary to do so. I believe it is one reason why there are so many mental health issues with individuals in the borg. The best way to get over anything is to give voice to the pain. Glad you shared your pain with us...we are here for you.

  Grieving not complete

  bumped into an old friend of my mothers.

  her daughter died in a car crash over 30 years ago.

  the truth is all she can talk about and seeing her daughter again.

  Healthy grieving is not allowed as a JW. If you grieve the way your are supposed to "you don't have faith in the resurrection." One of the reasons why there are so many Mental Health issues in the borg.

  Took to hospital again by ambulance home now tg

  had chest pain again monday the 11th thought it was a heart attack again.

  i told the docs the meds aren't working.

  now after extensive tests, i am told i have mold spores in my lungs.

  OMG it must have scared you half to death. I am glad that you are resting at home, but I am not sure if home is a safe place for you. If you own the home, your home owner's insurance should pay to get the mold cleaned up. If you rent you need to call the landlord ASAP. I hope you begin to feel better.

  bloodless medicine and surgery has grown to where it is because of the fear of aids and other blood borne pathogens, not the crackpot stand of the jw's!!!

  !the only reason why they have made an impression on the medical world ,is because aids accelerated their cause.

  the org has the most confused and contradictory policy on blood.not even their hlc's know what is permissable.

  Welcome to the board, I am looking forward to hearing more about your life. I believe no one would even begin to comprehend the shear numbers that have lost their lives due to this needless doctrine. I doubt very much they would want it even publicized. It is amazing what people will due out of fear, and misaligned loyality. What is even more frightening is the number that lost their lives where now many of the procedures are allowed.

  I feel the sameway with those that lost their lives in Malowi...all over a 25cent political card. Now it would never be an issue. How dare they play God with people's lives. Makes you want to hurl.

  The best paying fields are medical. My daughter graduated in May with her BSN. She begins work at a local hospital with a 5 grand sign-on bonus, they pay 60% of her undergrad loans, since she is still in school because she wants to be a Nurse Practioner the hospital is paying 100% of her grad degree...plus her start hourly wage is over $22.00 an hour. If you can handle nursing, or any medical field it is were its at.

  OT/Fluff: Mineral Makeup users, any good products?

  i use bare minerals foundation and mineral veil.

  i love these products but they are quite expensive.

  i have noticed several makeup companies like neutrogena, physicians formula, almay, etc.

  I buy Physician's Formula at CVS. You know drug stores anymore....they sell everything.
