Ah, I see what you mean.
I don't usually use that view, so I had missed it's relevance.
I agreee that moving threads is probably the answer.
Hiding them from "Active" would be a tidy solution.

Do you know the passage?
by FieryIce inan interesting question, the saints, the holy ones, if they are aware of their calling and choose to not follow for what ever reason, life or family pressures, what are the reprecussion for that called one?.
i was sure i had read a passage that stated the called one that turned away would loose the gifts yet still have their name remain in the book and i thought i read another passage stating the called one that turned away, then turned back again was not allowed and would have their name removed from the book.. the closest i have come to finding these passages is heb.
6:6 and there is john 15:6 but both passages are not quite what i was looking for.

Matt.8:11 and Heb.11:16 are interesting passages, to support that reasoning. I'm guessing that most dubs haven't come across that one. -

ROFL
My wife has invited me.
That's a scream, because she knows that I'll partake, if I go.I got an update on how my DA announcement went, yesterday. Apparently one couple thought that I was using an unorthodox method to announce that I was going to partake, this year. That was, right up until I announced my departure - LOL.
Should I, shouldn't I - hmmm, what a dilemma!!!

spritual???
by wonderwoman77 inhey a friend of mine posted this on another board...see what you think.... good day, all.. i am trying to relax a bit, while reading articles and pages of interest on the web.
i cam across an article i'd like to share, or draw your attention to.. one interesting part of this is that it concerns the definition of spirituality.
according to this definition, the wts and jws are about as anti-spiritual as appears possible.. "a spiritual being is comfortable with the idea of having teachers, observers, and divine guidance available at any time.

I would go with a bit of both.
After all, is that not what "indwelling" means? -

Should fair restrain and doubting thrust
Ignoble thoughts among the caged?
And whilst my mind alights with thou
Erotic trouble is upstaged.Should hearts desire athwarted roam
Amidst a rising panicked breast?
What will thy fevered brow reveal?
To whit, a mind without arrest. For love's sweet effigy alarms
E'en the most illustrious part
Of contemplative homilies.
Hurt and sorrow, deep impart.See the darkness, rising passion
Hear the breathing, most emphatic.
Hear the wind, and feel it's pow'r
Cry out with joy, most ecstatic.Fate it was that brought this charge,
Weaving in it's sensual charm,
And as our conjoined minds awake;
Bring on pleasure, avert harm.LT

IslandWoman:
Do you not think God is big enough for any such situation?
Do you not think it's all been done before, as the Son hung bleeding from the cross? There's truly little that anyone can further heap on Him, as it's all been paid for - past, present and future.
Those who do care have their own cross to bear, so as far as anyone feels agrieved at a God-dishonouring religion (and attributing their pain to God) ...
...bring it on!!!Regardless of what anyone believes, in this life, the truth will out.
If the God-dishonourers are right then they might as well enjoy the satisfaction of dissing others, as they've nothing to lose.
Personally I think that Pascal really did think that one through with more sense, though. -

The story of Samson
by Simon injust a few things in the account that don't make sense and lead me to believe it's just a made of story (really?
a guy with superhuman power?
who would have thought... ).

The story of Samson missed one vital portion not previously found, but recently discovered in a Scottish cave.
It should find it's rightful place between Judges 15:3 and 4.
I can now reveal this to the world:Samson used to help out in a local Walmart, where they sold foxes in pairs, so he moped off to work in a sulk.
It wasn't a good day, as a whole section of an aisle fell down, releasing 300 of the foxes. Upon realising that they were spoiled goods, he had to think up something to do with them.
"I know" Said Samson, "I'll release them in the adjoining field, owned by the supplier of a competitor.
Then his hand chanced upon a bottle of "Mrs Miggin's Fine Olde Hair Restorer". He pocketed it, thinking that you never know when THAT might come in useful.Hence Samson was the predecesor of many fine pioneers who work long hours for minimal pay, continue to trust the untrustworthy, and are exceptionally good at hoarding things.

Another erroneous portrayal of the wild beast.
by Yadirf inabove is a picture whereby the scarlet beast of revelation 17 is portrayed, with the harlot aboard.
(i found it somewhere on the internet on friday.
) notice the horns ... the manner in which they are presented as being shared by all but one of the seven heads.
