you invite the co for dinner (or some other thing) and they say they cannot.
i can understand why, i suppose, since depending on how popular they are, maybe they have to turn down some invites to have personal time, but still wondering how common that is..

They often get dozens of invitations for the same day/time and cannot possibly take them all. So they take the ones they like or think would be the best, as anyone else would lol.

@Bats - Excellent point. When I was the chairman at the convention one year I saw a high-ranking El-Dur come up to pray with a little piece of paper in his hand and read his convention prayer. At the time I was totally asleep in the movement and I still thought it was really wrong.
Over the years I saw brothers read prayers on at least 5 more occasions too.

why, because the nature of ethical standing.
is facing the effects you have caused and owning up.. there is no need to explain the difference between saying you apologize as a token gesture when faced with someone you've harmed and.

Dating Sites
by LouBelle ini will admit that i have joined two a little while back just to see what kind of a response i would get.
it is so difficult to meet new people in that: 1) work - there are now 4 men in all - 2 married old cronies and 2 younger guys that are just a no.
2) i have a lot of gay friends so when we go shake our bom boms it's usually at a gay club - 99.9% of the men there are gay 3) friends of friends are usually involved.

"Jehovah Unmasked" by Nathaniel Merritt Now Available as Free PDF
by BabaYaga ini ordered this book and read it a few years ago, and it resonated greatly with me.
i don't agree with all of it, but i haven't found many books that i agree with 100%, particularly those dealing with the bible.. i have recommended this book before on this forum for those questioning the logistics of the bible (genesis in particular) and i have just discovered that nate has offered the book now as a free pdf.
(incidentally, nate used to post here at jwd/jwn a few years ago, but that was before my time.).

FYI: The book is total fantasy. A friend of mine actually called and spoke to the author and he admitted that he made it up and didn't even believe that way but was only "exploring an idea".
