  It took me a long time to write this...i'm staying.

  it took me a long time to write this....i'm being brutally honest...i am still a reg pioneer...three sundays ago,i was praying and asking god for a sign or something because i was so confused...i told him exactly what i needed to see for me to believe.i was feeling terrible--crying and feeling sick because i was so confused.ten minutes after, i walked into the kingdom hall and to my surprise--my prayer was answered!

  i soooo wasn't expecting it, even though i prayed.

  so this is where almighty god wants me to be,ii've reasoned.

  Thank you for sharing your story.

  I used to be a Christian... not a JW. I also used to ask God for a sign... and of course God sent signs, because I was looking for signs. I realize now that that is just how one's brain works... it sees what it expects to see. When I became open minded I learned that for every one in a hundred chance (otherwise known as a sign) there are ninety-nine signs that don't happen. It might take some effort on your part to understand it, but once you do you'll realize that recognizing signs doesn't prove diddly squat. Realize that God is "ALL" powerful, and if he really wanted to show you a sign you would see something A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! (I do wonder why this incredible God doesn't just open his mouth and speak like a normal person... that would end all confusion) Now, I'm going to just take a wild guess that since you didn't actually tell us what the sign was... it probably means that deep down inside you know that the sign wasn't actually of any real significance and that if you told us, we'd point that out.

  Good stuff! Do you think the complete movie is going to be streamed online?

  Also, I see you accept donations on your site. Since the film is complete, perhaps you could give copies to those who donate... just a suggestion. I guess people might be more willing to donate and share once they've seen the full documentary.

  one of the single brothers from my former hall.

  we were decent friends when i was still attending meetings, but since my departure we don't have a lot in common.

  Having faith is believing in something without having a reason... and therefore having faith is being unreasonable.

  I wonder what they would say if you asked them, "If you were gay, would you want to get married?"

  That would probably have been an interesting conversation.

  I remember, back when I was religious, I asked someone why they were gay... to my astonishment he replied, "God made me gay." It's strange to think that the answer confused me, when it's so obvious to me now.

  another disgusting attempt of the wts controling attempt to know it all.

  you can totally see the wts did not consult a therapist, getting professional help/advice on how to handle the situation or message they were trying to convey to the child.

  the facial expression of the mother ( is disturbing even to me) while evoking guilt to the child.

  Just think... they could have made it worse. Would be interesting to see a children's video on Armageddon. Or perhaps after Caleb's mom notices the wizard toy Jehovah breaks down the door and rips off Caleb's head... I think that would be a more effective way of getting the message through.

  Of course in the sequel, the wizard resurrects Caleb. They become best friends and together they fight the evil...

  i walk past the earlsfield / wandsworth kingdom hall in london quite often on sundays.

  there are always cars outside and i never see anyone go in or out... and so i wonder... how long are they in there for, and what takes them so long?.

  "My Bible Lessons" - WT feature for infants 3 and Under

  as many of you probably already know, the wts have a relatively new feature series called "my bible lessons".

  this series, which apparently began running earlier this year with the february public edition, is specifically designed for children "ages 3 and under".. caleb, of sparlock fame, makes his wt debut in the "lesson" of the august 1st, 2012 edition of the watchtower, pages 24-25. .

  in it, caleb writes a letter to a friend that is sick.

  do you think there is any chance we could get a chinese (or other asian) company to make a cheap knock off of sparlock the warrior wizard?

  they probably either know how to avoid copyright problems or don't care much about irritating an american cult..
