  Dateline Program - WHEN?

  just wondering if anybody knows when the dateline program will air.

  The beauty of Dateline is that they dont TELL a story unless there IS a story...so yes, millions of people will tune in to this because millions watch Dateline. And I guaranfreakintee you, the JWs will watch it too. The lines will be ABUZZ the next day about how Dateline "lied and misrepresented Jehovahs Organization" which is the standard JW line about anything that even remotely opposes their faux paradise. And yes it will be GOOD publicity for the Watch Tower Society and their minions...that story will stick in the craw of all those millions of viewers and the next time a JW comes a knocking with their sickly sweet fake smiles and their promises of paradise...all that householder will see will be a potential pedophile they might be inviting into their home.

  Yep...great publicity. Bring it on.

  i am bill's wife.he just called me from washington and told me to let you all know that erica won her case today!.

  that sick child molesting bastard is in jail now as we speak.. his sentencing is set for september 24th i think.. one down many more to go.. thanks to all who have supported this cause.. sheila

  Just got Home/Elder Dad just realized I'm Apostate

  well, just got back from a big talk with my parents.

  i finally let them in on the fact that i question the society.

  (dad is an elder and mother has been in it for 67 years since birth.

  Moe..that purple face was not just rage...it was fear. I think all the doubts that he didnt ever express, that you just did, all the fear that it was true, all the fear now that he will have to shun you, and that you or he or both may not be in "paradise" came flying through. This is always the roughest part. Give both of you time to cool off and then try to talk to him again. He isnt in a position to be "judge" to anyone. ZIP nada.

  If presenting Watch Tower literature to a JW means you are an apostate...then theyre all doomed.

  Dont say anything...make yourself "unavailable" to their calls and NEVER talk on the phone to them about anything..they call in TWOS and they wont tell you another elder is on the line.

  Do NOT accept them into your home if they show up unnanounced. They dont own you...they follow the rest of society's rules and make an appointment..a CONFIRMED appointment and dont show up at your door.

  We love you who have gone through this.

  most HATED thing about the meetings ...

  hey ya'll ... ain't tuesdays, thursdays and sundays even better nowadays ?.

  i was wondering what it is that you hated most about the meets ?.

  the one thing that used to really rile me was the pressure to control the children - the frowns and the disapproving looks when they were just behaving like normal kids .... the worst of it all for me was seeing any little person being taken outside and hearing the loud slaps even when the door was closed .... what is it that you least miss ?

  I hated having to go AT ALL. Hated having to go out in the cold after just getting home from work. Hated having to make excuses when I didnt want to go. Hate the politics, hated having to be NICE when I didnt WANT to be nice. Hated pantyhose. Hated the boring repetitive music, magazines, subject matter, banter. Hated the controlling regulated do as we say not as we do elders.

  Ugh..why in gods name did I ever sign onto the Titanic?

  forgive my brutal honesty but thats my take on this site so far.

  thats not to say that it serves no useful purpose.

  but it does seem that many of you are totally consumed with proving to yourself and others that jw's don't have the truth.

  Are you saying then that those still in ARE slaves to it? :) Interesting. Because that we would agree with. However, people who have been raped, people who have loved ones killed by drunk drivers, people who have opposed oppressive governments and want to see CHANGE so that no one else suffers as they have, are not slaves. In fact, they are to be commended for not walking away and turning their backs on those still suffering. This wasnt a knitting club I decided to leave in order to pursue yoga...this is a family destroying, life destroying, faith destroying cult...and I and, I feel, the great majority of us on here, aim to see it come down.

  If in your smugness you construe that as belief that we think they might in fact HAVE something we still want, then perhaps you think the Jews would like the ovens reconstructed from the Holocaust just for old times sake, and because they think Hitler "had something" as well.

  People get together and talk about the things they have in common, and in this case its FREEDOM. Perhaps your presence here indicates that you think WE have something?

  PS I saw that fat pimple Jerry Falwell on CNN today talking about how life starts THE MOMENT THE SPERM AND EGG MEET. I bet he would be surprised to find out the egg exerts a considerable amount of energy in trying to rid itself of the 'invader' before accepting reality.....LOL

  And all females continue to do this to those pesky males the rest of their lives LOLOL!

  Yes we had a pain in the rear in our hall too...Paula Paine, who made it a POINT to sit in the FRONT because of that happening to her :)

  Also, back in the days when we still made huge dinners for assemblies, I was working in shifts cleaning the trays with this big steaming spraying hose thingy which instantly gave you a bad hair day and destroyed your clothes. Well the sister before me decided she would save her new silk blouse and took it off before donning the white workers coat and rubber gloves. When it came my shift, she handed me the gloves and WHIPPED off the coat...it was a good 5 seconds before the breeze hit her and she realized she was standing there in her bra LOLOL!!!

  Another time...we were out in service with one of the annointed who was a dear brother, full of great stories but getting a little..well..off in his old age. It was a hot hot day and he decided to lighten his load a bit, so went behind somebody's front bushes and stripped down to his Dago T! He payed no attention to those people in the back yard LOL.

  Also...we had the Service Overseer visiting our bookstudy which was in the basement of the Kingdom hall...maybe 15 people. He was diligently trying to get across that we should not be afraid of anyone but should approach ALL people..like Jesus when he touched the leper. Except every time he tried to say leper he said LEOPARD...so it was like "and Jesus took pity on the leopard, and reached out and touched the leopard...and.." then the guy sitting next to me handed me a piece of paper on which he had drawn..quite clearly...a picture of a guy in a beard and toga reaching out to a VERY perplexed looking leopard LOLOL!!! I had to leave...I was making extremely rude noises by then in my delirium.

  And there is one in every congregation..the brother whose prayers go on and on and on and ....Brother N was a nice guy...rarely got to give the prayer, jumped on the opportunity, but after the first 8 minutes of this closing prayer, we were all getting very fidgety. Like Columbo...he kept saying "And just one more thing, Jehovah..."

  I personally have no intention of letting go. It helps me to keep others from going through what we all have...one at a time, Im stealing back what they took from me. I have gotten used to the fact that my JW inlaws are self righteous...to borrow a fraze...dickheads...and its their loss that they hate the entire world. What a nasty existence. When somebody is raped and they help with rape counseling, it doesnt mean they arent letting it go...they are putting the experience to use to help others.

  The dubs on the other hand WANT us all to just let it go...so they can go on existing and destroying and pounding the hell outta unsuspecting people who thought they were finding God, when all they are getting is Clod and Clod's other brother Clod.
