I am of the opinion that pedophiles CANT stop having the urges. I can forgive someone who has done this, but I wont forget it ever. Its the most base and heinous crime against children, and if it was a person that I KNEW who was molested, I dont think I could EVER forgive the perp. They have forever altered the entire existence of their victims. I couldnt have anything to do with ANYBODY who ever did that...I wouldnt be able to think of anything else they ever did, no matter how good intentioned...after that.
As for getting out even with a plethora of AntiJW information stored between your cheeks...none of it matters if, as our brother just said, you are "trapped"..and trapped he is as are millions of others in there. Living in fear, living in dissonance in their souls.

I think the one most annoying thing that is still lurking in me from JWhood is that I take everything personally that people say to me. Its like Im on a constant defensive and perceive that people are judging me, even with very mild commentary on things. I dont like people telling me how to do anything any more...and if they even remotely disagree with something I get really pissy about it. I dont like this....but after 13 years of being WATCHED QQ in the borg like a fish in a bowl, and having people gossip and accuse and correct and direct and manipulate me...Im waaaaay sensitive to it all now. I suppose I need to be OUT 13 years too to get over it. Only 8 more years to go of being an UberBeech.

Earthquake in Manchester !
by Simon inthere was a quake here at 9:00 this morning and just now (12:30) the building i am in has been shaken ... the chair i am on was actually moved back and forth by it several times and you could feel yourself being swayed back and forth.

Ive been fired 4 times in my life...and each time it was on trumped up reasons that suited the person firing me. Yeah I was pissed but it was THEIR LOSS! I was fired from one job because instead of sitting in the cafeteria with the 10 employees, I was at my desk making arrangements for my upcoming wedding and I was accused of "bringing down the morale" of the company and was fired for "not being a team player." What morons! The very next job I had, I was awarded for Administrative Support Staff Excellence and honored at the regional meeting with a plaque and a letter from the CEO of the company...Compaq Computer. So the moral of that story is...one mans garbage is another mans gold babe...when you find the job that is right for you you will KNOW it! I wanted to take that trophy and shove it up that guy's... But instead I tore up all their invitations to my wedding hehehe, and BLEW them outta my life.

All bookstudies at the KH???
by Intuit39 ini know of a congregation on the east coast that is having all bookstudies meet at the kingdom hall!
that's right--no bookstudies in private homes, at least for now.... has anyone else heard of this?
and what could be the reason?

Maybe its because of the sniper? They figure less moving people...less targets maybe? We used to have one book study group, sometimes two, meet at the Kingdom Hall for the disfellowshipped people to attend who were not allowed to go to peoples homes. One saturday one was for the older ones in the congregation who had trouble going out at night too. :)

Are All Non-JW's "Worldly"
by Double Edge inafter speaking with my jw friend, i asked "do you consider me a worldly person and not a true christian?".
they asked "what do you mean and where did you hear that".
i said that i had gotten into a conversation with some former (you all) jw's and they said that even though i attend church, jw's don't accept me as a 'true' christian and i'm called a worldly person.

Its like when a woman says to you "Do I look fat in these pants?" You cant possibly answer that question right and the JWs know that if they answer HONESTLY you will freak, so they hedge their bets, and him and haw....but the reality is there are only two camps...baptized JWs in good standing and EVERYBODY ELSE. Their doctrine is VERY specific that anybody not a JW is under SATAN and that includes anybody who ISNT BAPTIZED yet but even studying to BECOME a JW. If you ask them who will be in paradise they will also answer you "We dont know, only Jehovah knows hearts" when their doctrine is VERY specific that only JWs in good standing will survive armageddon and be in paradise. They cant tell people the TRUTH god forbid...nobody would join.
