Do not be misled. Bad associations spoil useful habits. (1 Corinthians 15:33)Maze . . . a question for you . . .
Just what are all these "useful habits" JW's have, that deserve to remain "unspoiled" . . . in your opinion?
this seems to be a favorite topic to bring up to any witnesses who post on any website where there are any opposers, either here or topix or anywhere.. so, here is the one and only place i will be discussing it.
who can prove that witnesses are specifically told not to post on websites about them?.

i've observed some forum users here that claim to be active witnesses (even claims to be ministerial servants or elders) while duplicitously supporting apostates online.
my contention is this; why attend meetings and/or participate in the preaching activity when the second you divulge your apostate thinking into the congregation, you'll be disfellowshipped?
while this action taken may seem to be harsh, the outworking of events wouldn't be much different in one of christendom's churches.
I would have thought the answer was obvious . . .
The OP seems to infer such ones are hypocritical . . . whereas to my mind it is the hypocrisy of the WTS which has created the problem they now have to deal with . . . and I thought that was obvious too
Snoozy JWfacts . . . unbelievable! . . . that post deserves a thread of it's own

Is this thread on whether JW's are "allowed" to post on apostate websites or whether they "should" . . . two different things . . . with two different answers . . . just asking
i just had to share this weird dream i had last night.
just because i rarely remember my dreams, and this one felt so real that i was really proud of my mind coming up with it!
lol and it's all thanks to the "word of the day" thread.
The last dream I remember (about a week ago) involved my wife becoming a Lesbian and running off with a girl who works in her office . . . could that be Forum related?
for those who may be interested in things geological .
just an update on seismic activity here in christchurch.
what's below is the seismometer drum for the last 24 hrs .
Yes indeed . . . bookmarked that link. It shows the degree of 'random consistency' we might expect, with a cyclic nature characteristic of most natural occurrences. Geological evidence suggests there have been periods of much greater seismic activity than we are experiencing presently. Shame there isn't the data to extrapolate over a longer period of time given the relatively slow rate of tectonic change. But like many sciences . . . it's all quite new, and a work in progress.
Nevertheless . . . there's no correlation with the Biblical prophecy that some would have us believe.
the launching pad!!!!

You've got the truth . . . so what's the problem?
IF it is a real cover - Then the WT using evolution imagery (which most people would recognise) I'd thought would only be in a poor light - so I'd guess at these people are 'Worldly' and showing they are accomplishing nothing between cradle to grave. Thus the subliminal (by their standards) message of false beliefs=meaningless life.
There is no parody as this is a genuine WT cover.
The above summation is therefore accurate.
I showed this to a friend who has never been a JW and knows piss-all about them and asked what he thought it depicted . . .
He said "Looks like a life well-lived . . . nothing meaningless about that!"
So as the ball thudded into the catchers mit . . . the umpire called "strike"
The WTS assumes all non-JW's see life as meaningless . . . they're just pretenders in the game of life who can't really see the ball.
hello to jwn!
this is standfirm.
i mainly post on the topix jehovah's witness forum, but i decided to give it a try over here also.
