ok.... heres the scenario:.
you make plans with a "friend" on a project that will benefit you both..including something that may help you out in the long run as well.. your "friend" screws you over in a completly different respect...but one that cannot be ignored.
they show no remorse for the harm they have done either.. do you not proceed with the prearranged project on matters of principal because they may in turn screw you on that as well not to mention you really don't care to be around them at all.....or do you take your chance that they won't and keep your deal.. what would you pick.....matter of principal or contract?.
First of all, get your facts right. Remember how emotion can get in the way of good judgement. So be absolutely sure that your friend did this bad thing that they are unremorseful about. (why are they unremorseful?). Certainly you make this person sound a complete arsehole. I would not get involved with anyone who had proven themself unreliable or untrustworthy. You are just setting yourself up for more disappointment.

I just got annoyed with the questions. The questions required too many black and white answers and I feel annoyed that I can't fill in a "sometimes" or "depends on what the party is like as to whether I stay late and am energised". So I gave up. Hey what do they say about quiters!!

my dad gave a talk in monticello today, so since macon is on their way home he and mom stopped by for a visit.. no mention of "coming back" or anything jw-related, but mom did give me a copy of the new world translation.
so i've got a [version of the] bible now.
previously she had asked me if i had a bible, and i said "well no, but i have read it several times".. they also didn't mention dateline, and i decided not to bring it up this time since the visit went well.
Brendrr, why bring up the dateline program? If your folks are making an effort to get on with you, why spoil it? What you have going with your parents right now, might be as good as it gets! Besides, they will eventually raise the subject of The Troof with you and then you can let have it with both barrels!

well, we just got back from spending yesterday evening and most of today with isp, mrs. isp, and the two little isps.
the number of folks from this board that i've met is steadily growing, and i've yet to suffer many disappointments.
isp and family were very kind and generous people, with absolutely adorable children!
..is there something about the British climate that is good for your skin or something? Let me in on the secret please!

these people have seen hide nor hair of me in at least four years and now they decide to come looking for me???
must be the co's visit because i didn't recognize the one "brother".
Unlike the others, I think you did the right thing to hide. What's the point in talking to them? They came looking for us after 2 yrs and disfed us for slipping away. It's unpleasant. If they do catch you in the garden or by the telephone, tell them you've been thinking of coming back to the meetings. Just keep saying it every time you see them but never show (obviously). They will get over bothering you eventually. Honestly, you'd think they had nothing better to do!

on my lunch break today i stopped in at a new little shop in our little town.
was hoping to find some nifty little gift for my daughter who has a birthday coming up.
mind you, i'm a fade away.
2400 Kms away? NO! After we were disfed (apostasy) my husband took a job in Hong Kong. The day after we arrived, we went out to sight see, and we were approached by dubs with the WT & A. Grrrrr!
