Are Parents Who Shun Their Children At Risk?
by Englishman inwho looks after the welfare of ageing witness parents who have disfellowshipped children?
are these df'd children (actually, some of these df'd children are in their 60's) meant to ignore being ignored and then care physically for their non speaking parents?
also, can df'ing your own children lead to witness parents suffering illness or even death as a result?.

Suicide Post from last week - Info Needed
by Celtic inall correspondence regarding last weeks posts on 'chantelle's' suicide conducted throughout with adeles full permission and consultation has resulted in needing more information.. if anyone has any information at all in that this story without permission was passed on to the media, i would like to know about it.
if anyone in fact was foolish enough to pass this onto the media without express permission from adele first, action will be taken to remind any such individuals that you acted bang out of order and to expect consequences resulting from any such action taken.. note to englishman personally: it's ok, the story panned out after posing some investigative questions today, will ring you later with detail.. yours faithfully.

Hey Mark
Well written, after speaking with you on a one to one basis, I totally sympathize with you.
How dare they question your motives, who do they think they are? Their lives must be so sad that as Jesus once said " I pity them, like sheep without a shepherd" or as I would put it like humans without a brain. Keep up the good work truth will prevail.

Discrediting Credibility - Telling Stories Safely
by Celtic init has long appeared to me that some here within this community and possibly lurkers too might find this forum a toally unsafe platform upon which to let their personal stories be told for fear of attack, disbelief or other derogatory and unsavoury comments, even on behalf of those ones who really should know better.. now, why is it these days, and i'm sure i'm not the only one who experiences this, that i feel that i do not want to tell publicly my full personal story and/or experience relating to upbringing with the jw's?
why am i fearful of attack?
why am i fearful of disbelief?

I have to elucidate sixofnine.
You are extracting from celtics post something that is not there. Are you taking this personally? Are you therefore complicit ? Not wanting to be antagonistical or indeed indifferent to your remarks, but I do suspect a somewhat irregular inference in your reply. All Celtic and indeed I are saying is that some of the populace that use this board are highly suspicious to us in their motives, that on occasion leave a rather distasteful feeling in ones mouth.

Hey Mark
Rang you the other day for a chat, guess you were busy.
I have discovered through my journey on this board that some of the users are just not worth my valuable time. I have identified the idiots, the ones whose incomprehensible eccentric remarks, which serve no purpose whatsoever, and erased them from my daily reading. If I see their posts I by pass. Simple as.
Not wishing to pin point any perticular country, but I think you know whom I am refering too.

What "RULES" Did YOU Want To BREAK?
by minimus insince the organization has so many rules, did you ever just want to break a rule, just to do it?
one rule that i enjoyed breaking was the 15 to 20 minute rule that you were supposed to come to the meeting early.
i was regularly tardy.

There were lots of rules that I broke. Being alone with Sisters. Counting the wrong time. Counting family bible studies when none were conducted. To name but a few.

The VERY Best National Anthem Is The..
by Englishman ini think that i heard it today.. this morning, i was sat in the millenium stadium, cardiff, wales, not regettably, watching an international football / rugby competition, but a charity absailing event.. to gave us all a taste of the normal atmosphere when 70,000 are present, the organisers played us the welsh national anthem over the superb sound system.
oh wow, i still have goosepimples.
it was incredible.. sorry canada, i know mulan rated you tops earlier this year, but wales have, imho, got the worlds best anthem!.

Englishman
I felt compellled to respond to this thread being a Welshman and indeed an altruistic supporter of the National side. However not wanting to appear mercenary or indeed antagonistical to our Canadian bretheren, I must agree that all National Anthems are I suspect would indeed bring a tear or two to ones eye.
Having attended the Millenium Stadium on international day there is a somewhat eccentric encounter to enjoy especially if wales are playing england. I can indeed in the strongest possible terms attest to the enigma of atmosphere that surrounds the stadium when 72500 voices are orchestrated in perfect harmony.
