And Abraham said within himself, How shall I separate my son Isaac from Sarah his mother, in order to bring him up for a burnt offering before the Lord?
This account of Sarah makes me think of Mother Mary.

okay so there's e-trade ...scottrade and all that.
does anyone hold stocks?
if so, which website have you found to be the best form of investment?.
I use TD Ameritrade/ThinkorSwim. But I don't "trade," really. The short term stuff doesn't interest me.

dr ron paul!.
greetings from holland!
we've agreed to compromise on our differences and support each other through the years we have left.. i'm seeing a psychiatrist today to deal with my difficulties that stem from a traumatic and tumultuous childhood.. he is willing to yield in his beliefs that a man should control everything and make all the decisions.. being a stubborn jamaican, i realize how hard that is for him.. we're going to renovate the house so that he has his own quarters.. that way, my boisterous g'kids won't work his nerves too badly.. just wanted to put it out there.. syl.
About time you gave the man another chance!
Hope it works out well for you both.
as the title indicates, the 2011 summer convention was my first one 'mentally out', and wow!
how can anyone stand this stuff?
demons, demons everywhere: yes, evidently after jesus kicked satan and his big hornets nest full of demons down to earth in 1914, they're all mean and nasty and just around every corner!
Going to a DC while mentally out is 3 days of excrutiating pain.
i am a very fortunate father.
5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys.. this is the personal note written inside the card from my youngest daughter, who just became a mother last july.. "things i love about you, dad.... i love that you always make me laugh and you're never too grown up to be silly.... i love that you never talked down to me and always made me feel smart.... most of all, i love that i get tp share you with my daughter and watch you make her giggle like you always did with me.. i love you, dad.. ---".
forgive me this indulgence but i am a little emotional this eveing after talking to all my adult children today..
over a year ago i knew i had to resign my position as elder because of many reasons.
i was the youngest elder being 40ish... and there had already been some resistance to my wanting to cut back on the many responsiblities i had.
i knew that to make it easier for me to resign, there had to be some replacement.
I can't help but feel guilty for being instrumental if not soley responsible for their new found high level of stress in 'serving the congo.' I do know they were really wanting these positions...
I felt the same way when I resigned as MS. I handled a lot of duties for an overworked BOE. They had to pick up my slack. However, I could not justify doing it any longer.
job a man blameless and upright, one who feared god, and turn away from evil.
the fact that he is just and suffering breaks the logic relating god, evil, and the suffering of israel.
for ancient israel the logic of suffering then they must have sinned.
The Book of Job is a morality play. It is a fictionalized account about the life of a man called Job. It wasn't intended as a literal history, but as a story designed to teach moral lessons. Think of Aesop's fables as a non-Biblical example of what the book represents. I think it is the greatest book in the Old Testament.
more than one million people are out in the streets today in athens, greece, protesting against the new financial measures that the government is trying to pass.. the building of the greek parliament is blocked by protesters.
situation started to get bad, since the police had a clash with a group of "anarchist".
i guess we are all anarchists in greece, since we are looking for a better future for us and our children.. the corrupted governments that ruled this country from 1974, when dictatorship ended, have lead to poverty 11 million greeks.
Do you think G-Pap will last through Sunday?
