Apparently you don't realize how much of an ass you make yourself by continuing our conversation, why can't you stick to the subject matter nstead of making mey comments personal? Judas and Unforgivable Sin

i'll be the first to admit that i haven't done the research on this one, and i can't remember the answer from my jw days - but there's something bothering me about the scenario of judas and his betrayal of jesus.. considering that the betrayal of jesus by judas was foretold in prophecy, it was essentially set in stone.

it was going to happen, it was an absolute because divine prophecy is correct.

judas had to betray jesus in order to fulfil prophecy.. now, i've always personally believed that a person does not sin by an act that they cannot avoid, but this seems like kind of the motherload of standing on the traintracks.

Here's my two cents. I'm no youngster, I've been in association with many so-called friends, and believe me, they are not friends. I have less than a hand full of friends. The betrayal of Jesus doesn't surprise me. Each of us are at the whim of selfishness. This selfishness is a POWERFUL influence in our make-up. When we desire something, what do we do, hmmmm. When we have an extreme desire for something, what do we do, Hmmmm, at what costs are we willing to satisfy our thirsts, yes, at what cost's? To think what others may do, how about us? just my 2 cents.

OH God Bohm, your at it again, distractions. What amazes me about you is why you continue to confront me about a subject you continually ignore. If I'm such a wine drinker, etc, why do you make my comments such a personal issue, ah, just another distraction, ha ha. For someone who makes out to be so intelligent, you continue to make yourself a fool by responding to my comments. If I'm dumb and a stupid person, why is a so-called intelligent person like you keep attacking me? What do you expect to gain? Your a CREAM PUFF. Stick to the topic at hand NOT personal matters.
