i have been meaning to post these up since i signed up to jwn but, until someone mentioned the zone talk that is happening tomorrow in new zealand, i had forgotten!

i used to be a prolific note taker during public talks, assemblies and conventions.

as i became more awake to the truth about the truth this died off.

That talk is a rehash form a talk that I herd years ago in Spanish. I had it recorded on cd and the tittle in Spanish is "Cual es su Goliat"(what is your goliath) por José Gadea. They don't have anything new, so they recycle the best they have.

i have been on this site daily, almost from its beginning, since i left the jws in 2001, but i have been more of a reader than a poster, as you can see from my post count.

i know few here know me, although i know many of you through reading your posts.

maybe it is not right to ask for support, when i generally stay quietly in the background of this forum, but i want only to speak a human misery of the deepest kind.

How do you study the Bible? (for those that do)

what have you found is a productive way for you to study the bible?

do you have a group?

or a solitary preference?.

At the moment I'm doing it alone. I share my findings with my immediate family. So far they hear, even though they are still JW. I bought 2 interlinear translations from Greek into Spanish (that's my native language), a Bible dictionary and a couple of study Bibles. A tool that also has been very valuable and is FREE, even though I made a voluntary donation for it, is e-sword. It is a program with more than 20 Bible editions, Bible dictionaries, books of historians like Josephus, in short everything that a sincere seeker of the truth need. I recommend it. have you abandoned the wt idea of two classes of christians?

while still a believer, ray's books helped me to see that the idea of there being two classes of christians was a 'unique interpretation' of the watchtower society with no basis in scripture.

Jesus never talked about 2 classes of Christians with 2 differents hopes. This is my first missing "memorial" in 41 years, but I have everything ready in my home waiting for my wife to return from the KH to partake with me at home. Blessings to all.

After I wrote this post 2 months ago and after thinking and praying about it for a long time , my wife and I began to partake in our home. My wife still attends the meetings because of pressure from his family and so she will attend tonight to the Memorial. She will not partake in the KH, but when she comes home we're both going to have our Lord's Supper in which both will partake .

In Acts 20:6-11 we see as 5 days after celebrating the Passover Paul Went to Troas and the first day of the week he broke the bread again (a clear reference to the Lord 's Supper and not just a simple supper ). The WT in an attempt to point out that the Lord 's Supper _ should be held just once a year, deleted the phrase "breaking the bread" in the NWT. Blessings to all. (I'm still learning English, so PLEASE forgive my writing)

so i was poking around jw.org a lil recently...... noticed this advertisement was still present in the 'privileged' section (ie you gotta have login access).

this was posted on jw.org a little over a year ago (as shown in pic) but since it is still viewable......figured it is fair-game for jwn fodder.

I own a 2001 Buick laSabre with 84,000 miles and it works great, no rust. Always have used Mobil 1. Why the C and D overseers can use those car for a couple of years more?? If they are so good, why sell them?? Ohhhh, I know, it'$ a great deal for the WT$.
