I bet they would cut those trees down so fast after they took down and burned those "satanic" decorations. Bet the witness kids would love it. "See Mommy the hall is decorated, why can't we?" Love to see the pictures.

How many times a day do U think about being ExJW?
by LyinEyes ini thought about this tonite, i was out on the town with my husband, trying to forget about the week i had of being sick.

I think about being an exJw at least three or four times a day. When I think of my Brother or father. Or when I see something about child abuse. When I see a witness girl at my son's school when I pick him up. Sometimes I get upset about the cruel treatment I have recieved by JW part of family. These days I tend to be more happy not to be involved with the Jw's and glad to have my freedom.

When I was a teenager I worked in a grocery store with a sister who was counciled because she was promoted to front desk service cashier ( cigarette counter). Cigarettes were just one thing sold at the service counter. Mainly at that time it was for check cashing and returns, stamps. One day an Elder had come into the store and saw her selling cigs. He told her " I hope your conscience is clean about selling tobacco." I felt bad for her at the time because she was so upset. She got another job a couple of months later cleaning. Over twenty years and I still think of it when I go to that store.

Witnesses And Their Obsession With Bible Names
by ColdRedRain ini was just thinking about all my old witness friends and how many of them have weird bible names.
i mean, who the hell outside of a witness would name their child "ephriam" or "hezekiah" or "elijah"?.
i guess they don't have to worry about being picked on by the kids at school for their names because most witless kids don't go to school anymore, lol.

Freeman.. Good for you standing up for your son. It must put a real strain on your marriage having to deal with a Jw spouse. Maybe you could superglue that bumper sticker on real good, put a clear coat on top of it. Could you just see them out in service trying to scrape the thing off.

My neighbor told me today that last Saturday the Witnesses had been on our street. I wasn't home at the time. He said he told them about the dateline program and that he had seen the silent lambs web site. He said he didn't want any part of a religion that would do that to children. He said they didn't defend themselves they looked at him and turned down the driveway. My little "preaching" work about silentlambs is spreading. What a great neighbor I have.

Weird Childhood Thoughts
by pettygrudger inwhen i was growing up, i used to think that as long as they made fuzzy loving commercials (i.e.
the faygo one was my favorite & coke second) that the trib & big-a couldn't possibly come!!!
i also used to plan how i would hoard food & water in holes in my backyard that we wouldn't have to eat all the icky mice & insects my mom said we would have to live on.
