  I live in the UK, please explain this Summer thing to me. Someone told me it's like rain but dry, is this true? I have read some old books and they mentioned Summer, but I think they were making it up! :)

  Food, sleep, action....

  i am dying for some distraction.

  my gorgeous nose has been stuck in books all day, and my gawd, i want some fun, some action, and some sleep.

  but i am not really sleepy, just tired, and i want some nice food, but am feeling a bit sick to my stomach cuz of all the chocolate i have been eating, and the chocolate wan't even meant for me, but it was so yummy, and i couldn't help it.

  we're kind of fortunate in that the fast food in our local vicinity is quite poor.

  greasy chips, chewy kebabs, minging pizzas etc.... there was an old chinese family that had a chip shop that was *fantastic* but they have retired and the people who have it now are not as good.

  there's an excellent chinese takeaway but it's about 10 - 15 minutes drive away.. a few nights ago, we got a menu pushed through the letter-box for a new takeaway opened: turkish.

  Picked up my new bike!!!!!!

  i picked up my new bike from the shop today, and been out on it having fun most of the day.

  its so fast, and i love it.

  now i've just got to finish building my shed so i don't have to keep it in the kitchen.......

  what is the current thinking of the watchtower society concernng higher education these days?

  in 1977 i entered college from a full pioneer status and was duly criticized from the local elders.

  back at that time, higher education was actively discouraged.

  I almost got slugged - not sure what to do next

  i play soccer in an over-30 rec league on sundays.. last sunday the team we were playing had this dude that was playing very aggressively, yelling at the refs, his team, our team, the ball, etc.

  generally making what should have been an enjoyable time for all into a tense occasion.. he's one of those 5'3" guys with a bad temper and a motor that runs at 200 mph, a napoleon type.. anyways, near the end of the game (we're up 2-0 at this point) he is trying to get the ball away from one of my teammates, a guy about twice his size.

  and for the umpteenth time during the game he goes sprawling to the ground and cries foul.. as me and my teammate (the one who napoleon just tangled with) are running up the field, i decided to open a can of smartass, so i ran up to my teammate, made very slight contact with him, and did a big comical trip and fall to the ground.

  Speaking for myself, if he happened to be there I'd do the comic fall thing again just to make sure he got the message that I thought he was a plonker.

  jehovah hates us all, and he's really going to have some fun killing us all.

  we're all going to pay for our apostate ways, whether we've grown a beard, or we've gone to a marilyn manson concert.
