yesterday was the wedding.
all five of my siblings and their spouses and children, my mom and dad and their spouses, even my three daughters were invited.
but not i. she is the only one who is jw.. they sent the invitation to the girls in their name only to my address.
Your actions remind me of some advice I was given by a Disciple of Christ Minister who had been raised by a JW aunt when I was trying to deal with my personal situation which occured my wife became a JW..
"there is only one way to deal with JWs. You have to outlove them"
You certainly demonstrated that advice.

Very deep and insightful Onacruse. I feel much the same way. I know myself well enough to understand that I would not be where I am today if my life had been one of ease and satisfaction. There is a sense of "divine discontent" in all of us that impels us to develop and grow. Perhaps that is our real function here on this plane of existence. I know a great many people who are "stronger at the broken places" because of events in their lives.

two nice jw ladies stopped by my house last week and gave me some magazines.

I doubt that you will find "counter-witnessing" very satisfying. Unless they are mentally prepared to hear, it will be a waste of your time. If you insist on doing it, then you must control the agenda. Ask them to explain how the organization has falsely prophisied so many times and why they should be believed about anything. Ask them to explain the damage they have done to families by shunning and the protection of pedophiles in their midst. You could even quote them some scripture about false prophets. You might also ask them to explain their many shifts on blood matters, Rh factor, etc. and how they apologize to the families devastated by the death of a loved one.
looking at the scope of this world can any human boast that he or she is greater or superior to anything else on earth?.
