  i did!

  most jws that i know of love to drink.. interestingly, i noticed the heaviest drinkers were bethelites..

  and things are within a week or two of being d.a.ed/d.f.ed, and my jw best friend sent me an email to check how i was doing.

  i was fairly sure that he was very much on the edge of leaving to, or at least that he didn't believe it for a long time.

  so i sent him an email in reply and told him basically everything i believed and the reasons i knew jws are not the true religion, and i also told him i was leaving.

  And if, and I use that term loosely, there is some slight hedge of JWS being more peaceful than others ,and I'm not saying that they are, it would not be due to them being a part of Gods chosen organization on Earth today.

  It would be because they THINK that they are a part of Gods chosen organization on Earth today.

  I think that it all has to do with perception. If you REALLY THINK that you are a special, chosen people, then many will tend to act this way.

  Why the Governing Body is not Evil

  i know that some of you don't personally think that the gb wants to cause harm or is only after the money, but after reading some posts on here, it seems like some of you do think that the gb is evil.. .

  if you think about it, that doesn't make sense, but here is just one question.

  why would the gb create a time limit on their organization if they believed it to be false?

  They have to have a time limit to keep those interested in staying loyal to the GB.

  Imagine yourself in the late 1800s and being told that the Big A would be coming in the year 2016!! Would you be intersted in continuing

  your life with the WTBTS ( or whatever they were called back then)

  Harley Davidson drawing, 5 dollar tickets, free wine and snacks at 7Pm (address) winner must be present to win. Weirdest biker apparel recieves 10 free tickets, 20 longest beards wins 20 free tickets each!! Most leather wins 30 free tickets!!

  there's so much going on in my life right now but i'll be posting more about that later.. .

  to get straight to the point (i'm actually in the meeting right now) my mother has been very depressed about a lot of things lately.

  she is a regular pioneer and is a jw who many think is happy but she's a good faker and knows all to well how to put on a fake smile to cover up her true feelings.

  Maybe letting her know that you appreciate her being able to share her thoughts and you understand how hard it must have been to "break the ice" in this matter and you appreciate her thinking of you and your future. Might share that you have been having thoughts like this also and see where it goes while not getting in too deep.

  Commend her for taking that step and sharing her true thoughts on the matter.

  Maybe letting her know that you enjoyed being able to discuss this with her and would like to talk about anything else on her mind if she feels like sharing.

  Help get that "Door" open while it is cracked, but don't use force to open it.

  And at the end of the meal the Aunt comments that she has decided who will inherit her fortune by viewing the conduct of the guest.

  All joking aside, I wonder if this was the actual agenda and it was known in advance would they have acted differently?

  Would reminds me of the family in "Second Hand Lions" (Movie)

  Anyone notice how at DC we would have different geographic areas represented?

  Am I mistaken on this thought? It seemed to me that there was a constant changing of what circuits were assigned to what Districts and I wonder now if this has something to do with possibly hiding or making it hard to notice that the numbers are dropping since you cannot really compare apples to apples when every year it's a remix.

  I could be completly wrong on this but it seemed that sometimes Jws from a certain state would be assigned, sometimes not assigned the next year.

  Why not just dog ear (fold over) one of the corners of the ID Badge? Then you will need some other way to verify that it is not on accident?

  I know,.. when you check into the Hotel, actually use luggage as the JWs use paper and plastic bags for their clothes.

  If still questioning whether or not it is wise to have a gun for protection, go to youtube and search for "911 intruder gun" and take a listen to hear what actually happens. It's like health insurance, you don't want to have to use it but if you do, you're glad you have it.

  Then listen to some of those that were being broken into and did not have a weapon to defend themselves.

  If a bad guy had you and your family cornered in a restuarant and was going down the line killing people and you are your family were close to getting shot, would you want a background checked, certified, law abiding citizen to take out the bad guy with his weapon or would you rather wait for the police to arrive and take the shot?

  If I were the family that was going to be shot I would want any relief that I could get, by any means.

  Remember when seconds count, police are only minutes away!!

  I think you have to plug in the idea that bad guys do not follow the law, that's what makes them bad guys, right?
