Knew of a brother in Montego Bay that was a Taxi driver and also I think that there was an older sister that lived at the top of a hill that owned property that was originally DeWars, I believe.

Jamaican Branch Office Closing

if there are other jamaicans here, feel free to let me know.. with that said, it was announced at our last meeting (a letter was read) that the branch office (bethel) in kingston would be closing, and affairs would soon be directed from us hq.
now the branch office here is a large compound built on acres of prime real estate.

I would bring out the sales of all the properties around the world focuing on Brooklyn and the amounts that have been taken in for those buildings. Also mentioning that all the work on those buildings were donated by brothers like the ones being laid off.
ALso mention that you had read about the Candice Conti case and the money involved etc,..how they offered up the Patterson property as collateral in lieu of the bond payment. Also Hedge funds,..
Sounds like one of his trigger issues is money.
I would work on that as his cult personality allowed it.

i dropped my ipad on the floor and it cracked like a fresh sheet of blue crystal on breaking bad.
if the hollywood movie esque crack in the glass of my favourite posession wasn't enough, as it hit and smashed, i turned from my careful aiming and accidently peed all over my prized apple device.... when it rains....it pours.. listening to opie and anthony radio show so much so as to carry my ipad with me during midnight toilet trips, now seems excessive and regrettable.. get out, get out, get out of the toilet my people.....my apple, the great, has fallen..... .

I am free!!! What Shall I do on this Meeting Night?

here are some options... care to add some if you wish, help me to decide.. 1. go to the meeting and sit in the middle, reading "einstein and religion" paperback, go in early and stay after the prayer.

I would love to go to a meeting, KH, CA or DC and put my cell phone in Hot Spot mode with a wifi name of "JWFacts.com" (make password protected so they cannot actually use your hotspot. You know that the JWs will be scanning for wifi available networks and at the least will anonomously see JWFACTS.com so that they can look it up later.
What a better way to get that info into the hands of those intersted where no one else can know about it?

Letter I wrote to the person the caused me to be disfellowshipped
by jwfacts ina thread on another forum reminded me of a letter i wrote to the person that went to the elders and started the proceedings to have me disfellowshipped.
i stopped believing in the religion when i was 25 but continued going for about ten years.
i finally started to fade at 35, but about 6 months after i had stopped going to meetings, a person wrote a letter to the elders about my website, which at the time was anonymous.

I had one of those moment with my brother who happens to be one of the loco elders. (that was not a typo lol) A few years ago he was telling me how he had to go over the local elders heads straight to the CO to find out why he was not recommended as an elder since he qualified scriptually.
The fact that he had to "do something" different than the "process" was a little addition to my war chest on mentally getting out the Borg. Stories he told me how he went toe to toe with the other elders and how one approvahed him and asked "XXX,.. are you ALWAYS right?" and his glib laughter to me after that was also an additional straws that helped e see that "all is not right with this group"
So after I faded,..we have been having to deal with each other on family matters and we text mostly now and his text are coming off as "little telegrams" in length as if to say " I want to communicate with you as little as possible, you heathen" things like "Thats good. yes I will. I didn't." each line ended with a period. So I dedcided to thank him for being the one that opened my eyes and the eyes of my family to be able to research and showed my appreciation for him being the "Chink in the armor" that woke me up.

The sooner you take the control of your child's upbringing away from the grandparents and give it back to yourselves you will feel so empowered. You already know the answer to this question and that is that you should prevent your child from attending any meetings with ANY jws.
Jw Grand parents are hard wired into bringing their offspring into the cult, no way around that fact. They will look you in the face and promise not to share any WTBTS propaganda to the child and as soon as you leave, it's on. They cannot help it,..but it will happen.
You have to figure out if you vslue your child's future and his sanity more than you value pissing off your parents/inlaws.
If and when you feel comfortable explaining that you were duped I would draw out a stick figure of a child, parents, Grandparents, elders in that order.
Explain how sometimes parents "mislead" the child into believing that their really is a Santa Claus And eventually the child finds out that they were not told the truth about Santa Claus. Then go on to explain that sometimes even parents and grandparents are told stories for years about certain things that are not true. I'm sure you see Where I'm going here.
Bottom line, get that child away from those people.
