ok, i have a hipothectical question.

i have had this thought going through my head for some time now.. now i know some beleive in armageddon and others well they don't.

but let's take this route just for the heck of it.

It hit the fan

well, to bring you guys up to speed, here is what happend this weekend.

i told my wife how i was feeling and why i didn't believe the wt was not god's org.

it went pretty bad.

While talking to a person in chat they were deeply troubled because when they expressed concerns on some issues the elders were very stern..they did not even address the issues only that the org. was directed by God and that because he even questioned the org. that Jehovah no longer would love or accept this person. Does that make the org. and God the same?

We are told from the Bible to seek truth yet, when an individual attempts to do that they are considered weak and undeserving of God's love.. Where is the love and compassion in all of this? Isn't love suppose to be an identifying mark of God's servants? How can anyone put faith in an org that tells a person that if they seek truth they are undeserving of God's love?

As far as the issue of child molestation I can confirm what Farkel said about the elders first checking with the WT legal department before it is even reported. Each state is different and the matter is handled depending on the state. I was faced with this issue and the primary concern of the elders was not to the victim but what the situation would do to the name of the org. if it were to get into the hands of the public. It's not an issue of protecting the children but an issue of protecting the name of the org. so as to not bring shame on them. The shame comes in when the children are cast to the side. How can any arrangement to save ones name before the protection of a child have the backing and direction of God?
If you want to do what is right in the eyes of God then I suggest you not only look at the scandals that are covered over but also read the words from the bible..only then will you find your direction because man has none.

Sloppy typo in the Watchtower.

i was just wondering if this typo is in the us version also?

its in the 1 may 2002 watchtower p.31 on the far right block of text on the seventh line down:.

and members of the great crowd are not in the inner courtyard of jehovahs great spiritual temple, which courtyard represents the condition of prefect, righteous human sonship ot the members of jehovahs holy priesthood while they are on earth.. i know its just a small typo, but i have never seen a mistake like this before [to my memory] in the watch towers literaturehas anyone else?.
