Do you have zeal for TTATT?

who of you feels like they have zeal for ttatt and wish to spread it far and wide?

who feels that it is like a "fire burning in your bones" that you can't keep shut?

(don't worry, i love the power of the internet for anonymity)... ;).

I run a website for the Dutch speaking JW's ( www.freedom4all.net ) but not with any evangelical motivations or zeal for the TTATT. I am not targeting the society and I don't enjoy watching them squirm when they cannot answer questions.

But I enjoy my freedom so much that I want to share it with them.
I started the website for my family who are still in and whom I didn't see for more than 6 years now.
It's my only way of helping them, hoping there comes a time they start searching the net.

So my motivation is....just wanting my family back.
A lot of Dutch JW have found the website and are free now....but not my family.

I will never put energy into fighting Watchtower....they, as an organisation, are not worth it.
Everything you put energy in will grow.
If you hold a grudge against them and put energy in it by fighting it...your grudge will grow.
Not good for your health.

David Splane does not bow head when giving a prayer!

this is a report in spanish conerning david splane giving a prayer at a convention.. perhaps someone can translate it better, but google translate gave the following:.

during prayer, should no longer be necessary to bow his head in a mass meeting, as was splane throughout the prayer, head up, down, left and right looking at all tiers, not hiding in the least.. so splane is looking all around at the sudience while giving a prayer?!!!.

can someone confirm that is what the spanish text says?.

Some 30 years ago I was part of the 'secret service' during the district conventions.
It was called 'special assignment' on our badges, which we wore at the inside of our coat.

Our task was the security of the brothers and sisters.

Looking out for pickpockets was one of our tasks.
We were not instructed to keep our eyes open during prayer, but it was strongly suggested that the bible does not say that we have to.

When would pickpockets do what they do?
Of course when victems have closed their eyes.

So we shut our eyes wide open during prayer.

And what do you think of the language used in that Awake article.

A biblestudy is now called a "non-governemental education program" (page 11)

(I hope I translate this correct....have only the Dutch copy)

and on page 12 it is called a "basic course" that JW give...... and as a result people join a "worldwide peace corps".

Now....why the change of language?

Who had they in mind when they wrote this?

What would the UN understand from this if this magazine was submitted?

And how would the JW understand it?

Both would read somthing else.

Seems like carefully chosen words to please the UN while not upsetting JW.

i have been out for 22 years.i was raised as a jehovahs witness.

i was baptized in 1986 but soon after left the religion.

theres a whole lot to the reasons why i left, but i left.

Corboy, you don't have to study doctrine.

Just ask them to prove that the 'slave' was appointed in 1919.
If you find the prove, let me know....., in that case I will run back to the congregation....I will be thankful forever.

If they can't prove their appointment then their doctrine is not worth studying.
Then it's just the word of man.

If they can prove it, I don't need to study their doctrine.....I will accept everything they say....they are the mouthpiece of Jezus.

This will save you a lot of time.

Were they submitted to the UN as prove of...?

Notice the 2nd article A “Long Job Finished”

It was on the UN website, but is now removed.

How would it get there if it wasn't submitted?
And if it was not favorable to the UN....why would they put it as a reverence on their own UN site?

I found something in Watchtower literature I can agree with.

i ran across this excerpt from studies in the scriptures vol iv.

in it russell rails on as to why you should not tie youreself to any organization.

in a way he unknowingly predicts how the watchtower would turn against real "truth seekers" in their own organization, (quite possible the only prediction he ever got correct) and then goes on to show how the deluded witness just can't see how they can have a relationship with christ without a earthly organization.. .

i am new here and briefly want to introduce myself.. my name is michel and i am from the netherlands.

became baptized when i was 14, started pioneering when i got 18 and i've been ms for a number of years.

i married another pioneer and after a while we joined a foreign language congregation.

I knew about The Guardian but not that it broke first at this website....I did't even know that this website existed.

Almost 7 years ago I was at a Microsoft convention and there was a brother I had not seen for a long time.
He asked if I was still active as a JW and if I knew about the UN affair.

I said that had to be a lie and had to come from ex-JW...but he gave me some websites to look up.
Promised to look into it with the idea to unmask this lie because the GB would NEVER do something like that.

Boy, was I wrong.
After this it took me just a few months to make the dicision to leave, meanwhile losing all my family over this...but I am free now.

The UN affair was practically unknown in The Netherlands so I thought it was time for www.freedom4all.net

Now I have helped more people to leave the "truth" then I brought people in the "truth" in almost 40 years. :-)

Goedemorgen Michel,

Nice to see someone from the same country as I am.

I'm new here too, so I might introduce myself here aswell.

I was practically raised in "the truth", baptized when I was only 12, worked at Bethel in the late 70's and pioneered for many years.

It took me a long time before my eyes were opened.
The finel push was the discovery of the UN affair.

I'm free now for the last 6 years and am the webmaster of www.freedom4all.net

It's in Dutch, so sorry for all you folks who can't read it.
At the other hand.....I'm having difficulty understanding all the abbreviations you all use in your messages.

Ok EVERYONE- want to know who is going to be reading this website and others?

while everyone has been bickering back and forth, i decided to do something positive to move forward.

as most of you know back in jan our family marked us as apostates and started shunning us.. so i wrote to all of my congress-people and told them what is going on with the jw's.

i told them how they are breaking up families, teaching the children intolerance, etc.

Think about it....what is the most loving thing a JW can do?

You know that Armageddon is around the corner.....and your family is not in the truth.
They will die in Armageddon and therefore get no ressurection.

What if you take a gun and kill them all?
They die before Armageddon so now they will get a ressurection.

Ok....you will not...you are a murderer, will be disfellowshiped and go to prison.
But what a great self-sacrifice.....and all in the name of LOVE.
What greater love is there then giving your live for others?

Isn't that the logic in the teachings of the WT?

I don't think that's the intension of Watchtower, but it takes only one "mentally ill" JW to come up with this solution....like a JW who has sinned and thinks his live is over anyway.

A Couple of thoughts on July WT

i actually got a bucket close by and read some of the study ed.

july 13 w.t my first reaction was amazement at how very muddled the whole thing was, i think if i had all those months to write articles since the noo lite was presented at the agm i could make a much better job of arguing the new ideas, and our very own sd7 could do even better !.

for instance, it is claimed in the chart, and the 2nd article i think, that the harvest began in 1914, by whom ?.

Hello, I have not jet introduced myself, but I will later.

I was thinking.....if the FDS are equal to the 9 members of the governing body....and they will only get their appointment over the houshold of the master during the great tribulation...then what is the point of such an appointment?

Right after that tribulation the "new order" will begin and Gods kingdom will rule the earth.
Jesus is the king and 144000 will rule with him.

All the members of the governing body are "anointed" so they will be kings anyway....according to the WTS.

What then is the appointment over the household?

What more authority can they receive?

Do they receive more authority then the other 143,991 kings?
