Grand Challenge

it is clear that the evolutionist is so tied to his religion that he cannot think objectively - so here i issue a challenge of a general nature.

let us develop a focussed discussion in which we agree ahead of time which sub-topic of this noxious subject we address first.. i will take the liberty of suggesting the following:.

given the almost inevitable and immediate degeneration that debates about creation and evolution seem to descend into, how about we address the sociological aspects first - to clear the ground, as it were: how would you feel (whether creationist or apostate evolutionist dog) if incontravertible evidence emerged that the "other" side was actually right?

well, its not like i post here too often, but i still occasionally browse through the various topics and catch up on what has been going on in the xjw world....after 8 months of not attending meetings i can honestly say i am much happier.

my perceptions and views of "apostates" and people who abhor the watchtower society has gradually changed too....at first i was all for all of the movements and stuff like that.

but now it seems almost its own cult to me, with all of its own catch phrases and "elite members".

Why Im ignoring my friends.

ive basically kept this under wraps in so far as this board is concerned, but ive decided to tell about it because, frankly, im under stress at the moment,am posting (when i post at all) a bit strangely and i wish to explain why im hardly posting, nor am i hardly responding to emails or chat requests from my friends here.

i apologize for the latter.

in a nutshell, my wife is sick, shes been sick a year now and the situation is getting worse.

Non-JW wanting to Date a JW....some advice?

ok here is my situation, i met this girl that is a jw....she is not that heavily into her religion but we talked for a long time face to face and she is very hesitant on attempting to start a relationship.

so i have been researching for the past couple of days to undersatnd her religion and see if there is anything that i could use to dissuade her from saying no.

so last night we talked about the ifs, and buts, and such stuff like that.

Run....Run as fast as you can...there are so many girls out there.......not with the morals of a witness girl of course, stay at home, make hamburger helper for dinner...beat the kids if they even think of a birthday or <gasp> any other Holiday.....but love will see you through it all..........if you love HER enough
