that is the saddest, most heartwrenching and maddening thing I have ever heard. that poor kid. I can't imagine being so afraid of something that you would scar a child that way.

i found a strange explanation on this site: http://users.crocker.com/~lwm/all_along_the_watchtower/ .
does bob dylan really wrote this song with this purpose?

I've always loved hendrix's version of this song. I am not sure about the references there. it feels a bit contrived. has dylan ever discussed more as to what he was thinking when he wrote the song? IMO, the song's symbolism is open ended and can really mean any number of things to the people who listen to it.

first, you need to identify some outward signs of mental illness and then find ways to encourage their manifestation.
paranoia: remember, you live in a world controlled by the devil and.
his demons.
very astute observations metatron. I am still amazed at how obvious this is to me now that I no longer associate with witnesses. when I was in, none of this was apparent to me at all. there used to be a section on freeminds.org that had some interesting articles about jehovah's witnesses and mental health. I can not remember the author, but it brought up some stats about the abnormally high amount of mentally ill people and those who are predisposed to mental illness being attracted to JW belief system.

i was wondering, are hot dogs and tacos unchristion??
hot dogs do look like, well i can't say that, and tacos do look like another thing i can't mention.
so, my basic question is this - are hot dogs and tacos unchristian?
lol. you guys are too funny. sick puppies you are, sick!
...of course that explains why I love tacos so much and my wife loves hot dogs. heh.
that also begs the question: which is more unchristian, hard shell tacos or soft shell tacos? are open faced tacos a gross sin? and how exactly does a tostado fit into all of this? what about bratwurst? polish sausages? plumpers? is there room in christianity for all turkey hot dogs?

puffsrule: in the late 80's hustler magazine ran a series of articles about women and great danes. I guess it was a high profile hobby for a while. freaked me out when I first heard about it. but after we got the internet here where I work at the library in the early 90's, at the end of the day we would put all the terminals back to our home pages and I got a whole new education about bestiality. I could not believe that people did this. or rather i couldn't believe people did this and took pictures of it for other people to look at! I suppose if a person is like completely uneasy with interacting with people and have some serious hormonal needs, but...you know....damn. looks and sounds disgusting to me.

i live in klumbus ohio, in a neighborhood that ain't da hood but it ain't the 'burbs either.. it seems that if you are a male under 25 in my area and you don't have a 10,000 watt car stereo that shakes the whole neighborhood, well, you're nothing.. i don't get hip-hop culture.
i think that it is a screaming commentary on the cultural rot in the usa.. could someone comfort me or help explain the appeal of this pervasive sub-culture?
the depravity of it all makes me feel so hopeless sometimes.. maybe i'm a little too narrowly caucasian in my outlook.
amac: thanks for the info. I will have to remember that the next time I go music shopping (which isn't as often as it used to be - I have over 800 CDs, about 300 of which are rap)
LDH: I like the first BEP album better than the second. did they come out with a third one recently? and jamiraqu (sp?) is the best retro 70's smooth funk style out there now. I have 3 of his albums. I like the one that has supersonic on it the best.

that is disturbing news. even more disturbing than the guy who, about a year ago, got caught putting a blue nightie on a sheep at university farm and was about to "have relations with it" when some college kids caught sight of him and ran him off the school's property.
