  just wondering who here still attends meetings, and lives the jw life?

  i guess its interesting for the context of peoples comments.

  also does anyone have a position such as pioneer, ms, elder etc ?.

  I'm still in. I go to most meetings, don't comment, lie on service report, focus on planting seeds of doubt in others, don't judge. I am very happy and make sure the haters know it. I have lots of friends and am well liked. Even tho I only truly like a chosen few. Trapped because of family. But they know I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid anymore.

  my wife and i are thinking of moving our family to a better place in the us....away from jw family and out of the southern bible belt.

  just curious how many of you live around co and, more specifically, near fort collins?

  of course, we're open to any city that is less conservative and has awesome summer weather and outdoor activities.

  @Magwich Thanks for the well wishes! Myself and family are well. I really worry about the elderly population and those evacuated. Here's hoping all my Coloradeans, Floridians and any other "idians" are well as we all deal with various struggles.

  Yup.... Sheep2slaughter present and accounted for. Springs is crazy right now. No end in sight. Let me know about the apostafest and count me in! Well wishes going out to all those serving our community in whichever way they/you are. And to all of us suffering...keep your head up. This too shall pass...

  Between my phone and tablet I do about 90% of my computing. Surf, work, study, read, watch video, music, socialize......yadayadayada....love my phone!

  Did anyone else get somewhat offended by the term "rank and file" that the WT attorney used.

  i was just surprised by that term being used by jim mccabe when he said "jonathan kendrick was not a leader or a pastor, he was just a rank-and-file member.".

  i thought that was only an apostate term and also what a put down to us lowly members.

  we are just a rank-and-file person.

  so the local elders where i live recently had a big meeting with the hlc elders and i got a brief summary of what was said.

  thought i'd share.. it seems the jws aren't capable of making a decision based on their personal conscience.

  they are confused by the whole fraction thing and end up refusing the lot 'just in case' or accepting some and refusing others making them look like idiots.

  It will look the same as many pointed out. People are blind and that won't change. JWs focus on persons in need of fulfillment from external sources and unfortunately, life is hard so they will continue to sell dreams and rainbows. Bait and switch if you ask me.
