  e=elder; v=vidqun.. v: i believe god has withdrawn his spirit from the leadership and congs of jws because of all the bad things happening.

  Well done Viddy, just watch out for the two Elder visit, one Elder is no problem, youcan deny what you said or say he misconstrued it, with two one or other of them will ask you the "loyalty" question, "Do you still think JW's is the true religion, the channel god is using, god's organization" etc Something along those lines. Whatever your answer is, they have their prescious two witnesses.

  You then have a choice, if you want it declared you have DA'd yourself, you can tell the truth, or you can lie, or you can get away sometimes with just saying nothing, I know bros who have done all of those.

  If you do not care if they DF you or DA you,them simply ask them to prove that it is what they say, say" I am having doubts, in the light of the scrpture in James about those having doubts perhaps you kind bros would prove to me that it is as you say, God's Org." or whatever.

  Then have some fun.

  If you push this too far with a nazi type elder he will say you have DA'd yourself by your attitiude, so go careful if you wish to remain officially still in.

  Good luck, I know you can handle yourself, I feel almost sorry for the Elders, they are not reallly trained for the likes of us, we know too much, compared to them.

  hi everyone.. i just applied for the renewal of my british passport.

  it really costs a fortune to have it done.. i had to have new photos taken too.

  the pictures has to be to the according requirements.. now they ve send me an email, saying that my head was too close to the camera.

  What is theactual connection between all these individuals ? I know some were, but most are just an oddity in there own time, so there is no passing of the mantle from one " FDS member" to another, not if decades or more, and thousands of miles quite often, seperate them.

  This needs filing under "Super Looney teachings of the WT" instead of the file where the rest mostly goes ,mere, "Looney teachings of the WT".

  I am sure that what Mr Mack says is the case, and thanks for posting TH, but it still does not justify say, taking the prophecy of the madness of the king of babylon in Dan 4, and saying this has a greater fulfillment, why should it ? he went loopy for seven years, fulfilled, end of.

  Types and anti-types were beloved by Da Judge, Ratherfraud, as well, he even had one where Rachel's Camels were types of something or other, I forget what, utter nonsense of course.

  got a twenty pound turkey last november.

  a very kind organization gave my family another turkey and all the fixin's so i needed to store the first turkey.

  J W's do that to me all the time. That was your point I guess Snoozy ?

  Sorry you have to put up with this nasty behaviour Mrs Jones, it just leaves such a nasty feeling in the gut, you know that full on retaliation and revenge are wrong, coming down to their low level, but we are so powerless in the face of their cold hateful attitude.

  All we can do is get the odd dig in to show their lack of love for the un-christian act it is.

  I just comfort myself by saying it is all coming from the cult mind control of the WT, not from my loved ones real selves.

  According to the G.B of the JW/WT pseudo religion, Angels, Jesus, and any other spirits ,except for members of the 144,000 already in heaven, are redundant.

  The Rev Climax book (Rev Climax ? sounds like Clarkson having an orgasmic time in a super-car) says that those ones of the "John Class" (that sounds like people who spend too long in the toilet) communicate with the ones left on earth.

  This despite the clear warnings in scripture about talking to the dead.

  Angels just have the job of crying out with a loud joyful voice every time the GB have a (brain) fart.

  Dear Tornapart, some scriptures seem to be prophecies, and in fact may not be, some definately are, the final judgement ones for instance, but that is not what the thread is about, we were looking for Biblical sanction for the WT's method (other religions use it too) of a prophecy having an initial fulfillment, and then a second one, both plainly shown to be such.

  Without such a precedent, why should the method be used ? the initial fulfillment is the only one, another one makes no sense unless it is shown to be a biblical practice.

  Of course this still relies on the Bible being inspired,and a single work, which it patently is not.

  Using the "what would Jesus do" works against all religionists who try to force their opinions and rules on those of us who are just not interested, but if we use it as Tim says, as a kind of guide for our own actions, we would not go far wong if we can get an answer. The problem often is that 21st century moral dilemmas are not that easy to answer sometimes.

  If we live by the Golden Rule as far as our fellow humans are concerned, we will do the least harm.

  just one question, "becoming" an Atheist ? children are not born with a belief in God, so don't do all the silly stufff in the answer above, and they will remain an Atheist, as they were born.
