it-1 p. 881 galatians, letter to the - "by reason of a revelation, paul, with barnabas and titus, went to jerusalem regarding the circumcision issue; he learned nothing new from james, peter, and john, but they recognized that he had been empowered for an apostleship to the nations.

According to the Bible, (which never implies let alone mentions a "governing body") the apostle Paul was used to resolve the circumcision issue.
It was he who instructed the mythical "governing body" and they had to listen! They then agreed with Paul's direction.
(Galatians 2:6) "But regarding those who seemed to be important...those highly regarded men ("governing body" 🤣) imparted nothing new to me."
this is a court case filed in august 2021 by the zalkin law firm.
deborah hines vs watchtower and the governing body.. what's interesting is;.
"ny already set a precedent that an unincorporated group can be sued for its action and has specifically said this case can move forward.
Several years ago, I reasoned that since the WTBTS multi-billion dollar business corporation was an integral part of "the system" - based upon its wealth, influence, and the "contacts" it has accrued - then it would be granted certain favours/protections by some of these contacts.
As such, I'll not hold my breath waiting for the JW hierarchy to be punished jointly/severally by a U.S. court.
Sorry for being a doubting-Thomas.
let's start the ball rolling with two connected claims.. the religion of jehovah’s witnesses is the one true religion.
all other religions are satanic, including all the churches of christendom..
Spiritism (talking to dead humans) is wrong, but it's OK for the Governing Body to do it! 🤣🤣🤣🤣The Org Communicates With Dead Humans:
re chap. 20 p. 125 par. 17 - "This suggests that resurrected ones of the 24-elders group ("anointed Christians") may be involved in the communicating of divine truths today."
w07 1/1 p. 28 par. 11 - “The First Resurrection”—Now Under Way! - "It seems that resurrected ones of the 24-elders group ("anointed Christians") may be involved in the communicating of divine truths today. Why is that important? Because the correct identity of the great crowd was revealed to God’s anointed servants on earth in 1935. If one of the 24 elders was used to convey that important truth, he would have had to be resurrected to heaven by 1935 at the latest. That would indicate that the first resurrection began sometime between 1914 and 1935."
The Governing Body's voice is the same as Jehovah's!
w57 6/15 p. 370 par. 7 - "It is vital that we appreciate this fact and respond to the directions of the “slave” as we would to the voice of God, because it is His provision."
as jw's we swallowed such concoctions for years - without a single scripture provided as proof!.
w71 12/15 p. 759 - "apparently, the apostle peter was the chairman of the governing body on the festival day of pentecost of 33 c.e., and the disciple james, the half brother of jesus christ, was the chairman at a later date, according to the account in acts of apostles.
from this, and from what historical evidence there is available, the chairmanship of the governing body rotated.".

Can someone point me to the to the account in Acts of Apostles - I'm having trouble finding it! 🤣
may 2025 study article 21 seek the city that will remain.
what i remember was, when you see the romans, flee to the mountains.
now the wt is saying that's not enough.
A) Note what Jesus said about the imminent and only tribulation to which he was warning his Jewish listeners - "For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be equaled again," and
B) consider the context of the elder's reference to "the great tribulation" at Revelation 7:14; he was reminding John of the same great tribulation which the angel had warned about just a few minutes earlier, @ Revelation 2:22.
You can't have a "greater" fulfillment of something which will never be repeated!
having watched the latest offering from beroean pickets - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpuelgtf4ka - i contributed the following factual information along with several consolidating scriptures:.
"naos - metaphorically the spiritual temple consisting of the saints of all ages joined together by and in christ,
of a company of christians, a christian church, as dwelt in by the spirit of god.
Hebrews 3:6 - "Christ was faithful as a son over God’s house. We are His house." 😀

We're NOT apostates. That's the org's pejorative description of anyone who disagrees with their dogmas.
We're heretics.
Hope you find the real truth before you find a JW husband. Try examining what you're told is truth. (1 John 4:1)
in the org's vocabulary, the term "independent thinking" is applied pejoratively to any jw who thinks & reasons for themselves.
the org's lawyer knew exactly what he was doing in court when he voiced his carefully prepared words:.
"watchtowers lawyer anders ryssdal compares jehovah’s witnesses’ baptism to the norwegian state church’s confirmation of 15-year-olds, arguing that their baptism is no different.

"Watchtowers Lawyer Anders Ryssdal compares Jehovah’s Witnesses’ baptism to the Norwegian state church’s confirmation of 15-year-olds, arguing that their baptism is no different. Membership is open to everyone, and anyone can leave. Ryssdal claims that if children are baptized too early, it is the parents’ fault - not Jehovah’s Witnesses. He argues that it is not the organization’s responsibility if some members are overly zealous. Children must learn to think independently * before they are baptized." * w14 10/1 p. 14 - "When I was 17 years old, my parents returned to Germany. At first, I lived under their roof. But my independent attitude made it impossible for me to integrate back into the family. At the age of 18, I left home."
w12 2/15 p. 21 par. 12 - "We are wise to limit our association with people who are negative or who are promoting an independent attitude."
km 9/07 p. 3 Question Box: Does “the faithful and discreet slave” endorse independent groups of Witnesses who meet together to engage in Scriptural research...? "No, it does not. And yet, in various parts of the world, a few associates of our organization have formed groups to do independent research on Bible-related subjects."
w06 1/1 p. 29 par. 17 - "...it is vital that we...cooperate with “the faithful and discreet slave” and the congregation elders. That is a way to...protect us from developing an independent spirit."

in 2025, the jehovah’s witnesses have taken their doctrine of isolation to a new extreme.
once known for their door-to-door evangelism, they now stand silently beside literature carts, refusing to engage in meaningful conversation with the public.
She's neither looking for "answers" about JW beliefs - because she already knows them - nor is she trying to engage in a friendly Christian discussion by insisting on recording the interchange. She exposed herself!
Any sane & reasonable person would politely tell her to switch off the device - or no conversation.
If she repeats the charade, the JW's should say nothing and just smile & wave!
