  it is now almost six years since i left the witnesses.

  many things have happened in the meantime.

  in the beginning, right after i found out that i had been raised in a cult and all the fairytales ive been told for so many years were just this- fairytales, i had the strong urge to do something.

  An apostate goes public

  i mentioned in a thread some weeks ago ( http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/244078/1/first-public-talk-as-an-apostate ), that i was invited to give a talk at a symposium about cults.

  this will take place at the first weekend in may.. i'm going to talk about the difficulties you have to face when leaving the jw.

  yesterday i've got an another invitation to speak to a senior year class in a middle school.

  as it is carnival season in germany and the daughter of my girl-friend is in a dance group that performs at carnival sessions, we went today to see her appearance, not knowing that it took place in a home for mentally handicapped people.. the hall wasnt that big, maybe room for one hundred people, but it was crowded.

  First public talk as an "apostate"

  beeing the only elder in a cong for almost three years, i've been on the platform at every meeting (also at ca and dc).

  Sparlock is Sator

  in the german edition of the new dvd sparlock is called sator.

  i'm sorry about this, because sparlock sounds much better and meanwhile it is a powerfull meme (and i was thinking about antending one of the dc here with a sparlock-shirt).
