Who Passed Jesus' Inspection In 1919?

i was looking over the upcoming september 15 watchtower study article where it says that in 1919, something woke (the anointed) up!

jesus had come to inspect all those who called themselves christians.

some of the anointed did not pass this inspection.. but as many of us know, none of the anointed would have passed an inspection of the 48 teachings that are mentioned in chapter 3 of captives of a concept.. for example: according to the proclaimers book, none of the anointed woke up to jesus invisible presence beginning in 1914 until 1943 - 24 years after jesus inspection was over.

This is one of the most stupidest teachings the WT Corp has ever come up with and they have a LOT of Dumb teachings. Even when I was a young lad and was deep into the mind control (I was a born in and I actually believed most of their horse shit) the whole 1919 thing didn't make any sense and it triggered a Lot of doubts along with some other ridiculous belief's.

1919 is just some made up BS so that the FDS and GB can have some connection to the scriptures and give credibility to their Authority. A person would have to be a complete Dunder Head to believe this one.

What was the 2012 convention drama all about?

with all of the hype surrounding sparlock ... i didn't see anyone post anything about the sunday drama at the convention.. my husband and i decided that we were only going to attend the sunday of the convention.

we drove down, but got cold feet and we ended up going out for coffee and hitting up the local shopping mall, heading over to the convention for lunch to show our faces, then taking off home for the afternoon.

it was a good day ;).

this topic has been discussed before ... i just wanted to put my two cents in.. i will start off by saying that of course mental illness exists outside of the organization.

jemba, I know what you mean. When I was young I had very serious bout's of depression and had developed those type's of symptoms as you did. It took years for me to feel good again. All of those bad feeling were 100% directly related to growing up in the org and having its teachings pounded into my brain! It mess's with people's mind's and distorts their thinking and copping abilities. What a sick twisted Cult I was born into!

Its so sad that some have to pay the ultimate price. Especially the young ones. It Makes me furious to hear people speak of dead suicide victims in such a manner! Goes to show how stupid, ignorant and brainwashed those Jay dubs are. Many of them are completely retarded.

my parents are now reaching their 80's and have a substantial portfolio.

although i've never actually seen their will, they've mentioned that they may be leaving quite a large sum (roughly 25%) of their estate to the watchtower corp. my questions are.

a. once the money is sent, if requested back by one of the children is there any way to get the money back from the corp?.

Thankyou all for your advise. My parents are very much indoctrinated so I think its probably best that I Leave it alone. It just sicken's me to see people leaving large sums of money to a destructive Cult! Its sad really. There are so many ways to help your fellow man if a person wants to give and giving to the WT Corp is not one of them!

My parents are now reaching their 80's and have a substantial portfolio. Although I've never actually seen their Will, they've mentioned that they may be leaving quite a large sum (roughly 25%) of their estate to the Watchtower Corp. My questions are

A. Once the money is sent, if requested back by one of the children is there any way to get the money back from the Corp?

B. I've heard that when member's are on their death bed, they are visited by the BOE or 2 Elders and are instructed to do the usual prayers and encouragement and ask (among other things) if the dying persons "financial affairs are in order" and/or if they would like to leave something to the WT. Is this true or just a myth?

I hate to think of this stuff but my parents are very gullible (always have been) but it irritates me to no end that they are sending years of hard earned money to a real estate and publishing Corporation. Frankly, it pisses me off to no end! If they took the money and bought a home for abused teens or helped those in need or something, I wouldn't mind at all! But this is nonsense.

I would really appreciate some advise.

6/15 WT - WT Society can Run it's Business - but JW's Can't Have their Own

in the typical do as we say , not as we do type mentality - the wt society puts forth in this current wt study article ( jw's only wt ) - that it's not " advisable " or " reasonable " for jehovah's witnesses to seek entering their own business ventures , or further themselves by getting a college education, or even have a career - due to the imminent coming of the alleged " end of the system " or alleged " paradise " .

the guilt and control used here is ridiculous.

I Strongly Believe that the WT Corp uses these propaganda tools of "not pursuing anything and slave for God tactics" knowing full well that most of the R & F will not be able to follow that course in their lives (especially in the developed world) and therefore will have planted a subconcious guilt trip and subconciously make people reason "Well if I can't piosneer, then at least I can contribute in another way by giving more $$$". They are duping people into giving the WT money from their estate's, large donations, etc. Its a clever tactic. Get some sucker's (of who many are demented in some way ) to live a life of virtual poverty and do the WT's legwork so to speak and then have the rest guilted into giving up a good chunk if not all of their assets to the Corp. its a perfect scam if you ask me. its especially predatory to the elderly. Read their crap material carefully and its right there in black and white. They've got 7 million brainwashed zombies and will drain them in one way or another.
