  Loving this holiday season. I have bought slowly over the year and stayed in budget. my daughter and I have made the house a warm and cozy haven of happiness with the lights and trees....not overboard. I have done 80% of my shopping online with fabulous results And the other 20% will be done on Saturday. And I wrap and label as I buy. The JW excuse is the cop out....always was for me.

  its funny that I feel nothing at all strange about celebrating. I love finding the unexpected things for those I love. Aaaaand we absolutely LOVE our tree!!!!!

  I need a good cry but I can't. Please help?

  besides being overworked and overstressed almost everyday in the past few months,.

  i've had to deal with a 'broken heart', insecurities with my physical appearance (gained a lot of weight),.

  and being lonely because i started distancing myself from the 'congregation', i just want to cry, sob, and bawl out here in my bedroom.

  I know the feeling. for me it is as though ice has overtaken me and the possibility of a cathartic cry seems utterly impossible. Sometimes there is nothing I can do but I have found that there are a couple of triggers I can use involving specific movie scenes. There are 3 that work for me. The end of the series finale of Lost, the end of Titanic (cheesy I know) and the end of The Notebook. I am not a crier but sometimes we need that soul cleansing cry to clear the mind. Once you can have that cry try making a short list of things you want to accomplish in the short term. No more than a week. Don't set yourself up for failure by trying to take on too much. Try taking on one new thing to better yourself. even one step forward, however small, can lift your spirits to take another step.

  I am am so sorry you are over stressed and dealing with a broken heart. I have been there but I promise it will get better. Time has a way of passing faster than we think.

  Fibroids UK.

  i have just had a radiology appt where i was told i had fibroids.

  great.. i had a mirena coil fitted 2 months ago to control heavy and prolonged periods, suffering for about 14 months.. i wonder what my gp will suggest now??.

  i'm gutted.. thanks for listening.

  I can sympathize. I had to have iron infusions every few months and eventually had the robotic davinci hysterectomy. Itty bitty scar. Minimal downtime...1-2 weeks believe it or not. I still PMS lol...kept those parts so no hormonal issues but I feel alive now instead of always running on empty. Pure misery with blood counts at 7-8. Only a qualified GYN should help you decide. This was the road I personally chose after 2 yrs of suffering since I was ok with the idea of not having more kids. I did not go with the ablation because I would have to be on birth control since there is still a tiny chance of getting pregnant (not good without a uterine lining) and it is not always fully successful. My personal choice. Questions to ask. Be informed and decide what is best for YOUR health. Everyone has a different situation. Good luck!!! I truly hope you get it all figured out soon! :) Feel free to PM me if u have any questions about my experience.

  My 88 Year Old Mom Is Going To Special Meeting Today And Shouldn't!

  my mom only goes out for doctor's visits.

  they are "encouraging" her to spend three hours to hear the annual meeting at the kh.

  she is on oxygen and can barely move.

  My older parents are going...makes me ill. I mentioned how anti technology the society was and how now they are commercializing everything since it is to their benefit. I told her it's not even the same religion I left. She thinks it's all fabulous esp the Sofia and Caleb videos. She could'nt remember their names. I told her. I'm sure she wonders where I get my info. I am interested to see what is said. I hope it is so ridiculous it jolts them a bit. My dad has issues with the generation changes...

  ok so i know its not really anything to do with jwness but we are struggling with baby names and really can't think of one we both like.

  its getting a bit desperate as i'm due in about 8 weeks .. i'm getting bored of looking at the same old names on the baby names websites so any suggestions would be much appreciated (girls please).. **cash prize for the one we choose!

  I thought about Teasag (commonly pronounced Chessa) but realized the spelling would cause issues as she grew up and no one would ever know how to say it. I liked Teasag (spelling it Chessa instead) Elspbeth but ended up not using it. Picking my daughter's name was a difficult process but her name fits her :)

  Christmas lights

  this night i installed christmas lights in the trees in the front garden of our house.. we all like it, the children like it, so this is the first year we have this lightning.

  I bought lights for the 2 bushes that frame the entrance of my house, a 30" lighted wreath for the door and tons of lighted garland for my staircase, foyer overlook and mantle as well as a few miniature lighted trees for accent. I won't put them up yet but I am excited!!! I learned after moving in that I have the self proclaimed Griswolds across the street. Can't wait!!!!

  What would be your favorite job if you could do anything.?

  on the basis that most of us realise the w.t wasnt really the best " job" or way to spend our days, it would be fun to find out what people would really have liked to have done with there lifes and if this is still possible.

  or maybe its not even a very realistic ambition just a dream.

  in my dreams i stay at home all day and make a living from being a professional artist.maybe i need a phycholgist?.

  I had always wanted to be a marine biologist and swim with and study dolphins and other sea life but living inland in a southern state doesn't lend itself to many initial job prospects. I am currently in school working toward a degree in anthropology with a minor in forensics. There is an incredible job opening I saw in Charleston that combines marine biology and anthropology. I sooo wish I was ready to apply for it! I would sell my house in a heartbeat!

  i am sure people convery to a religion to find peace and spiritual awakening.

  i also bet many convert simply for love.

  would you to assist " true love" if it required converting to a particular faith?.

  i could never convert for love because then it's not true love. I want to be accepted for who I truly am as a person and vice versa. Love is hard enough to maintain under the best of circumstances. This topic makes me think of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Sure it worked for them but that's the movies for ya. I have no idea how that would work in reality.

  And marrying for money or social status is ridiculous...both can be gone in an instant. i do think 2 people need to be on similar pages religiously and financially to stand the test of time.

  My daughter gave blood today!!

  I think some are too afraid to look because then you have to face the question of "how did I allow myself to believe this for so long???" I went through a grieving process when I realized it was all lies. To just ignore it all is a defense mechanism, albeit a poor one. Those people like my sisters can live in a world of ignorance is bliss and go about their lives...to a point. It's when their beliefs are challenged or something big causes them to reexamine their life that it can hit. My sisters left because they just didn't feel like doing it anymore. There was no real compelling reason to search for answers. I, on the other hand, had my way of life turned upsidedown and shattered by those in power in the org. There was pain and actual death as a result of poor decisions made by elders. I had reason to examine my life and beliefs and decide to purge my life of the virus. Without a purpose so many don't feel that determination to purge. It's the only way to actually start living, in my opinion.
